I see a lot of people hate on this but I love it, fucking hilarious! Of course people want their pro wrestling to be serious and I do too, but sometimes it’s fun to get shit like this over with the crowds and the fans. He needs to give it a name too.
He did this at Collision in Norfolk after it went off the air along with FTR, Orange Cassidy, and Adam Copeland. It was the dance off we didn't know we needed.
I'm so glad Daniel Garcia found his own way to be entertaining. He is a very talented wrestler and his submission skill is really good. But you gotta be entertaining to let people remember you. And he did. The dance is viral just like Prince Nana's dancing.
I call that dance, the "IDGAF" dance. Daniel Garcia does it the best. He should be a Heel that gets the Baby Face cheers. He should do more singles match. Someone put a belt on that guy also.
Garcia vs Yuta trilogy is overlooked. Story of two well defined characters fighting for the championship that fits them both as a glove. As it's not about being most entertaining on the mic, both technical prodigies showcasing their best attribute, competing who is the better wrestler. It involved Yuta and his Senpai Orange Cassidy, together with a legendary Shibata. While Garcia and his stubborn attitude, getting in his way. Face Yuta showed how self-righteous, jealous and childish he is. Heel Garcia showed that his stubborn attitude is part of who he is and why he is that way. In the end, Yuta has lost the respect of Orange Cassidy and got smacked by Shibata as he was overconfident. While Garcia earned the respect of Orange Cassidy and Shibata. This trilogy also involved Danielson and Moxley. A great story, where Garcia while being a heel, got over as a baby face while not changing one bit. Same goes for Yuta, he became a heel, while he did not changed, he just continue to show more and more of who he is to us. Continuity and consistancy of characters was excellent, on top of that we got the matches Garcia vs Orange Cassidy, Garcia vs Danielson, Garcia vs Moxley, Garcia vs Shibata, Yuta vs Orange Cassidy, Yuta vs Shibata, Yuta vs Moxley, and Yuta vs Garcia trilogy. 10/10 story by AEW
man, you are missing the point. The dance is part of his stubborn attitude. It's not about a joke, it's about a man proving a point to the rest of the world. He is not willing to change his beliefs, a man that saved his life inspired the way he presents himself here. While he is a technical wrestling prodigy, he will be loyal to being Entertainer. As that is how he shows respect to Jericho. That is how he earned the respect of Shibata (Garcia didn't shook his hand in the end, which is consistent with his character). You have to pay more attention to the stories being told. AEW stories are character based, not event based. We get full continuity of how character goes from A to B. Don't forget, the dance move has the two hands raised. The dance itself started as he had to amend relationship with Sammy because Jericho wanted that. He did the silly hip move, while doing his cocky hand raise. He believes he is the best, throwing those hands up means he is the winner. He didn't lost that taunt, he just built on it with that dance. As an Entertainer, not a wrestler while having roots of being a wrestler. Doing that dance while facing Shibata, truly showed how much he believes in what he is doing. Garcia is going straight to the top, as his character is fully developed. Now we are getting him breaking up with two people who came into AEW with him. They don't want him to dance, as they don't want anything to do with Jericho anymore. While Garcia, owes Jericho his life. He will forever respect Jericho, even the way he left Jericho was unaggressive. Garcia is not stupid, he saw what was happening to Jericho, and he couldn't stay with him any longer. While Guevara, stayed with Jericho, just to backstab him. How Garcia was becoming the new favorite of Jericho, how Sammy and Garcia had to team up, how Sammy backstabbed Jericho and then he passed Garcia in backstage following week. The stare was intense. And lets not forget Don always wanted Garcia to join his family. There is a lot of details in this Sammy vs Garcia feud. Garcia has feuds planted with Yuta already, with Orange Cassidy, with Danielson, with Sammy etc. Now the break up with his first mates is a story that needs time on tv. The dance is a big part of it as well. No one dropped the ball, just pay attention if you ever enjoyed Garcia work.
this is the kind of gimmick vince would give to a wrestler as punishment. i never jump on the hate bandwagon whenever someone tries something new but this just sucks.
He is Entertainer, paying respects to Jericho (a man that saved his life). Prodigy technical wrestler, proving a point that he is loyal and believes in his ways. Stubborn as hell, but that is a great trait to have for a interesting character. Can't wait for Sammy vs Garcia, and Yuta to revisit the feud as well.
“How ‘bout it Renee?”
“TAKE A LOOK!”
😂🤣
“The promise land”🤣
Very surprised Jon Moxley didn’t kick his ass right then and there.
I love how angry and intense he is whilst delivering those hip gyrations 😂🤣
it's to prove a point, well defined character goes a long way when telling complexed stories
Thats why its so funny lol 😂😂😂
@@MrTeamGuyWHAT character??

What do u mean? Serious question haha the game? And why?
The compilation I been waiting for😂
Wait a sec. I thought you AEW geeks (no offense) didn't like "sports entertainment", so WTF is THIS?
Dancing is how he builds up enough stamina to perform his finisher.
If he was a character in some RPG games, he would be considered a Legendary/SSR+ class.
I see a lot of people hate on this but I love it, fucking hilarious! Of course people want their pro wrestling to be serious and I do too, but sometimes it’s fun to get shit like this over with the crowds and the fans. He needs to give it a name too.
Same here, my thoughts exactly! LOL 😂👍🏻
Lol perfectly said
I did this at the club and gotta few dances off this 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
There’s nothing wrong with a little sport entertainment. It just needs to be entertaining.
I mean he would be a pretty good jobber if he was in WWE with the dance
That dance cracks me up. Thank you for the compilation.
It's like flicking the joystick for the taught over and over😂
It really is lol I never thought of that until someone commented about it a few days ago.
This dude got that “My controller broke and the taunt keeps hittin” rizz
This dance goes with any song.....even Guile's
When he throw up the fist it’s all in the hips 😂
Too bad we can't have a dance off between Alex Wright and Daniel Garcia
That would be epic lol
YESSSSSS! I’d mark out for this

i love Daniel for that. it's stupid, it's goofy, but it's funny and it's working. now all i want from life is a Daniel Garcia vs Prince Nana dance off
Its Not Working. He is becoming a goof.

Renee loves every second of it.
Someone send R-TRUTH there for a dance break with Danny!

I don’t understand how come Daniel wasn’t cast for Magic Mike because of that….
Because he was 15 when the first movie came out

I can watch this all the day.
DG: well I can do this all the day.
AEW needs to book a PPV Dance Battle In The Ring Match between Daniel Garcia vs Prince Nana
1:02 you should’ve added the dance battle
Daniel Garcia is the Chris Pontius of AEW.
From now on I’m watching whatever this is
Love the dance 😂😂😂
It's definitely grown on me 🤣🤣

A SPORTS ENTERTAINER!
This is the type of thing the hardcore AEW fan gets hypocritical over. If this was Vince era wwe they’d be all over this
The main reason he can get away with it is because he is a damn good wrestler and he can bend you seven ways to Sunday.
@ 00:17..Daniel's getting off!! Lol
He has an amazing match with Daniel Bryan and now he's reduced to this. Boy, AEW really dropped the ball with this guy.

This is who they gave a westside gunn entrance and a victory over Brian.
Daniel Garcia is like the modern Alex Wright in AEW. Better in ring ability as well as dancing hehe.
