@@rishilmangukiya He is. I actually just bought this for Black Friday, for $1079 from Dell (with i9-13900HX and GTX 4070). Waiting still for it to arrive and excited to give it a spin.
@@sumyonguy Yo man I got the same specs! did you have any overheating issues with the i9? I heard it is much more power intensive than the i7 and overheats regularly so I'm wondering if it's THAT bad or just an irregularity.
Fantastic review overall. Sadly The I9 has worse cooling. It overheats and then thermal throttles. The glitches are about 1 sec max but happen constantly once the laptop is fully warmed up. I'll have to test it on a warm day to see if it's really bad. Right now it's winter and the house pretty cold. Not ideal test conditions but I'm a month during a warm day it'll be tested again on a warmer surface
You should be able to press the G key to put the fans at 100% for max cooling. Or you can use the alienware command center app to set profiles to "quiet" or "performance" or things like that too.
How's the trackpad? Is it responsive without stalling and lagging? I'm considering this now. Returning asus TUF A16, trackpad lags and stops.. Terrible
Dell pad is great. Make sure you get a warranty though bc they normally wear out in 3 years. Most people use wireless mouse with these dell laptops. They are heavy and not bet portable. 6.5lbs Plus a 2lb charger
Just ordered mine cant wait !!!
did yours come yet?? What is the order status?
not branding that alienware is pretty funny
I just finished ordering mine yesterday and today they're out of stock😮
thats artificially done by DELL.
@@youtubepremium5799it’s done non artificially by their inventory system.
Same right after I placed my order they didn't have any more of the 4060, 13900hx version that I got
@@electrocya6727 did you get your laptop yet? Mine still says "build complete"?
Yes, it has a Cherry MX mechanical keyboard with individual RGB lighting per key.
is he unboxing the one with the Cherry MX mechanical keyboard with individual RGB lighting per key in this video..??

@rishilmangukiya yeah this one has the cherry keyboard. The standard keyboard only has 1 zone rgb lighting, not per key
Just ordered a 13900hx, 4060, 16gb ram in white. Could you pls upload more videos of this laptop?
yup, new is wrapped. Just picked one up 4070, i9, 32gig...love it. LOVE IT.
I'm thinking of buying the same model, with an i9 and 4070. I haven't decided yet. What games have you played?
@@eduardogonzalez8357 no games, I use it to process RAW images on adobe lightroom..old Dell took 20 min to process...G16 about 7 seconds.
@@eduardogonzalez8357 I use it for adobe lightroom RAW photo editing. i9/4070 is the way to go. Super pleased with the speed...its ridiculous fast.
How do you like the laptop so far? Did you get the standard keyboard?

Can the RAM be upgraded?
Absolutely. I have mine i9, 4060, 32GB RAM, and am considering upgrading the RAM to 64GB and adding a 2ns SSD.
He doesn’t have the i9 version. I think the i9 version uses Liquid Metal to cool it.

@ I think maybe it’s is due to the gyroscopic that can be disabled
@justincollins313 I'm going to try that. The gyro shouldn't be active on a desk though:/ will have to follow up
@@JOutterbridge did disabling the "intel sensor solution" help with the glitches?
How do you toggle the fans and manage cpu temperature with the i9/4070? I got one of those on the way 😢
