- So in this video, I'm going to try out the Revamped Gusion here in advanced server.
In case you don't know yet, there are minimal changes to his skills.

Imo, this revamped passive is definitely a whole lot better, being able to do enhanced basic atks each time he casts a skill is like a mini calamity reaper xD plus it’s obviously better now its cap is 20% lost hp. The timer isnt much of a big deal since gusion would always back out of a fight after doing a combo, and would cast his skills first rather than using the enhanced basic atk first when doing another combo. Honestly not much changed in his gameplay besides a buffed passive.

Fellow Martis main? He's good personally, early game is really powerful and allows me to rack in kills rather easily, but don't rely on him to end the game
@@milosaga5450 he really did buff him late game his 2nd skill, it deals a lot of dmg than before with full dmg
@@ashergamer6408 I know, it's stronger but still not very impactful in late game. And don't play full damage with martis, he's slow and very squishy without his 2nd skill. Expert enemies can easily zone you and pick you off

- Bought some new clothes
-Learned some flying dance moves combos
- Cleaner Skill effects
- Got Mini Calamity reaper as passive but deals magic instead of true damage
Almost all of his revamps are like clothes changes

I may not be a Gusion main but there's one thing I noticed in the revamped Gusion and it's that his first skill blink dash is faster now, reducing the downtime for you to retract your 2nd skill daggers for smoother kill potential.
As a Gusion main and imao

Tbh, as a Gusion main, I think first skill has its normal speed and the second skill when he recalls his daggers back is slower...

when monton shows it ,its fast but now it looks even slower and the blades(swords) are too big and i prefer the second old skill
Gusion's revamp is in his appearance and skill effects nothing else, I don't think they will modify his damage, like Lesley, I don't think they will touch his attributes either, they will modify his effects nothing else as far as I understand, good Video Elgin! you get a lot of support from a lot of people, I hope one day my channel will be 1/4 as big as yours, you make great videos! keep it up! we love you.

Gusion is fine IMO. They don't need to adjust his attributes and stuff. Good Gus players know how to make him annoying to deal with
To get his highest dmg, u need the 4 passive or 3 passive combo. The 3 passive combo is 1-2-1-Basic Attack-2-3-2-Basic Attack-1-2-1-Basic Attack, the 4 passive is just to use the stored passive from skills already done beforehand. I tested that this dealt damage better to tanky heroes, especially the 4 passive combo. But the revamp's best combo is 1-2-2-1-Basic Attack-3-2-1-2-Basic Attack, it should be enough, if the flicker or dash out after, aim first skill to get to them, especially with execute
P.S. There are variations on the different timings for the first and second skill. IF both are already casted, use first then second (with perfect timing) for far away targets, and second then first for extremely close targets. Thank you
This is just a reminder for the combos to use since I will start replaying him after 2 years
You can now play him as a fighter/mage hybrid. Since every cast enchanced your attack, you deal more damage the more you can sustain a fight.
As Gusion's main I definitely loves his revamp.
1) more additional damage
2) no need combo just to get a stack
3) smoother and faster animation
And I think 1-2-1-2 combo twice will be used more since it gives double passive max stack, what do you guys think🤔

yup it will encourage more aa between combos but if you do the most effective combo you will have a 66.666% increase in passive damage

Honestly this only affects Gusion jungle since most Gusions don't use basic attacks until the end of their combo when attacking someone.
First comment which talks the truth. If someone rly do basic attack in combos, ur dead. In glory enemys hero pick always have cc and they know when to ult. If you cant kill them with 2-3-2-1-2 ur dead anyways. Also the sqeezy heros use flameshot and flicker which can counter gusion too if timed perfectly. So in my opinion gusion just a better jungler for now. No more no less. But i guedd Fun to use in mythic 5 tho

@@sanlingerf8276 nope this is a huge buff , a whole 25% damage increase cause now you will have a higher chance to execute and be able to use 2121aa 0r 1122 aa then 3 aa, repeat the previous then 3 and aa again so if you do the simple math that is 20% more missing hp damage more than pre buff that is a huge buff in the passive increasing most effective damage by 66.66...% . a huge buff . this buff will encourage more aa in between and mandate calamity reaper , heck maybe even a feather for kicks

Why force to use basic attack after every skill? Just stack it up four times and deal 5%additional damage....

Use any from both coz it depends on the distance between the 5 blades and ur position for max damage
This is definitely a good revamp of his passive, one of gusion's donwside is his slow farming in early stages of the game but with this he can compete with the top junglers in terms of farming speed.
The big reason why gusion hasn't fallen off the meta for each season is that:
1. He requires good timing and practice.
2. He's fun to play. I don't play assassin but he's as fun as chou.
3. Gusion deals truckload of damage. Good teammates make him shine even more.
4. He moves like lightning. If you can't stop his movement, you better be prepared to fight to death with him.
Thinking about it, I guess that's the reason why gusion has so many skins.
Gusion is easy to make skins on since he's just a normal looking character without crazy body parts like minotaur or grock and his skills have minimal assets and naturally flashy so all flashy skins (which is the skin types moonton makes the most) will most likely gonna fit him.
Exactly my point, Nice! Gusion with a tank is very good, specially when its groups your enemies together...

Gusion is still in meta every season not bc he is good but mostly bc hes flashy i mean there is something very satisfying and accomplishing feeling when getting kills from gusion.
He is great when used in the right hands. But I don't think he was ever a meta since late 2019.

Gusion's Passive when he got revamped is good especially when it can stack 4 times but you have to be more careful and more faster when you're going to use it though
As a Filipino and more specifically, a Tagalog, I can definitely feel Elgin's slang and accent at 6:02, when he said Meralco.

The smoothness are much more smoother -and- the animation of Gusion is _top notch_
I think the reason heros like gusion , Lancelot , chou and kagura stay evergreen in the meta is because of their unique play style , outplay potential and their ability solo carry a team !
Gusion can kill multiple enemies if lined Infront of him with no damage decay , Lancelot can dash right through the enemy tank to kill the squishy heros and dash out unfazed and chou.....well chou is the freestyle god XD .
When you compare this to heros who have "tap tap kill " mechanic they're not so fun after 20-30 games.
Therefore I think fun mechanics have a bigger part to play in the popularity of a hero rather then if they're overpowered or balanced.
Now with the arrival of the new upcoming rhythm based hero i think this makes sense

Reality and Expectations
With the optimized passive of gusion makes his combos slower while maximizing the normal attack on every skill
it'll still be the same if u will do fast combo
Well u can still do a normal combo bcs it stacks, plus its buffed since the passive dmg went from 15% to 20% so its mainly about preference
@@cupnt6724 i think it wasn't going to be the same as before, because it will undoubtedly make a difference if you utilize normal attacks in between each skill in your combo to maximize the damage.
@@lopezito7603 u dont need to utilize each stacks against squishy enemies since that's why you will do fast combo so they wont be able to fightback, you'll only need to utilize it against tanky enemies
the best thing about the revamp is the jungle speed imo. Clears jungle a lot faster now especially at level 1. At level 2, and above, u can spam ur skills without being conscious of trying to get 3 stacks for additional damage. For example, I would use skill 2 twice, then skill 1 only once to save the second part of skill 1 for the next 3 stack passive before.
Looks like Gusion deals more damage with his combo on his revamped version, also I think the "new" passive is good for killing tanky heroes.
Anyways I think revamped Gusion is way better since sometimes you hit all your skills and the target won't die and is left with very low HP, now we won't have that problem anymore thanks to the revamped passive, I'm excited to try it!

I think his jungle clear will be quite faster now, i already used to do basic attack after every skill so the new passive will do wonders for me too

It's an optimization revamp, his passive got a timer in exchange of 5% damage increase based on lost hp.
Man the adjustment of the new map looks nostalgic and Fantasy-feels, moonton did a great job at this thing.

This is the old combo to maximize the damage 1-1-2-passive - 2-3-2-passive - 1-2-1-passive or 1-1-2 passive, then dash in or dash out, the last part of the combo is only depend on the situation. This combo can trigger his passive for about 3 times good for tanky heroes
Im not a gs player, but add a small icon with the hero that being hit beside his 1st skill is gonna be good. I sometimes didn't know who hit my 1st skill.
You can drag your 1st skill then there will be a line to whom that 1st skill was shot . Then you will know it . Hope this helps

Gusion couldve used the ability to stack s1 so he can mark 2 different enemies for more advanced tactics and to actually be able to use his stacks more often but maybe that would've over buffed him again

The Change On His Change On His Passive Makes Him Feel Smoother When I Tried Him Probably Becuz Of His New Passive And His Skills And Combo Felt Alot Better Or Fast To Me So For Me Its gonna Make Him A Great Pick When There's Not Much CC And Squishy Heroes
For some reason he has better defence then a fighter his an assassin but very tough to kill without the malefic roar

Is faramis first skill stronger after adjustment? Can you make a video about it Elgin? Faramis is my main and I'm worrying what moonton did to my Faramis rn.
Yep the ultimate for me is a nerf why exactly? First old faramis's ultimate recovers the original hp of the hero, yes the hero needs to die first but they can die as much as they want as long as they are in the radius plus the new faramis only gives a small hp that can easily be squished i think the old faramis is good when you wanna kill a dmg hero because no matter how much dmg you get you'll still respawn aslong as your in the ult while the new faramis only protects you from death.

Honestly I don't see a need to buff or enhance Gusion. He may not be a hero choice for PRO players in Tournament level but he's been an absolute shredder since his debut in 2018. There may be a flashier and more threatening assassins of your choice but his burst potential is just insane and I can't even count the numbers of matches I've lost to a Gusion opponent. It's really unfair for marksman and mages cause buying magic defense items won't save you once he's hit his dagger. I've mentioned this to a lot of ML update videos that we need a magic damage immunity item in the game which would work like Wind of Nature, only that it can immune to magic damage instead of physical. Nobody seems to care of even thought of it. ELGIN if you're seeing this please make a shoutout for this. I'm sure the Devs will listen if an influencer like you give the voice. ✌🏻
New passive is good even though it has a CD coz most of the gusion users uses passive immediately... Ahh can't wait to use this new gus in official ser.

I Think its time to get clock of destiny out and calamity reaper in, the old gusion build should be back with the new rewamp.
Agree calamity build will reign once again with broken cdr damage and heal plus shotgun build is a quick combo takes less than 3 seconds of 232 of fast combo while athena lasts for 3 if you're gonna wait it out the whole enemy team is already hugging each other waiting for you to dive in while calamity can still burst through athena just like karina with burst build she can use all skills against a target with athena and still manages to get out with all of your skills still available

Cant wait to use the new Gusion. All of his skills and his whole character model in general looks much more polished. One thing i REALLY DISLIKE about his controls tho is how now when you aim for an enemy and try to execute ur combo, instead of aiming the enemy my first skill either hits nearby minions or jungle creeps or a tanky hero which completely cancels it out. Seems like this happened recently after a change in the control settings. Im a seasoned GS user with 1k+ matches and even i find it very hard.
Why not drag it? Aim urself is always better. What i find annoying is that the second skill (after ult) not hit any target, not enemys not minions if you auto it. So you have to drag the skill too, which makes the combo alot slower. I dont have 1000 games with gusion, but im glory..
Yeah, his ult seemingly auto targets creep and minions for no reason. It's very annoying especially when you have to do a combo suddenly...
Really looking forward to this new buff in original server, and i think with his new buff that can constantly heal with each stack of his passif so concentrated energy is not really necessary

While the 2-3-2-1-1-2-3 combo seems very effective, it will be wasted if you are locked up at the wrong moment.
I use the optional 2-3-2-1-3-1-2 combo when I am binded by Diggie’s Reverse Time. So that I can stay on pursuit.
As a Gus main there are more then 2 combos but those are just your bread and butter

Elgin, since players usually use tough boots against Gus and Karina as such, early game i suggest you take genius wand as it will lower it with the small penetrate it has with arcane boots, making it useless, then buy clock of destiny after buying burning soul
I personally just make arcane boots so I can create Clock of Destiny as second item and get the max passive of CoD much earlier.

For me tho, I built normal boots, buy elecant gem, rush genius wand, rush boots, rush cod, rush holy crys, rush frozen or anti heal(I forgo) and then buy something I feel like I need to survive a 2v1 and up like blood wings or divine glaive when enemy has 2 of them using athena
The emblem changes makes me sad because i cost so many BP and ticket just to buy emblems for upgrades
