For hours at a time I'd ride my bike listing to this album in my late teens... wish I could say it kept me off the streets. Ha. Good times.
Missing you Elyse. You mean the world to me, and I'll never forget you every time I listen to this. Rest in Peace girl.
Got this album from the band at a basement show in Athens, GA in 2001 and it has low key turned out to be one of the most fulfilling purchases I have ever made.
It was so dope listening to this band and others in the scene in HS. Got into prisoner support partially because of them, still a passion. I think a lot of us legitimately benefited from hearing lines like "40 years ago it took the national guard to let black kids in public schools" from people we could relate to instead of... idk, my AP US History class that gave out so much work that the very thorough education I got on these topics was pretty much wasted, no real time to focus on or think about anything. Know that's from another album but props to these guys and Fifteen especially. A lot of misdirected shit, but in small ways, the world became a better place
Saw this band in 2010 and it was truely the time of my life.
I saw them in Asheville NC in 2010. Great show and the place was packed wall to wall.
Thank you for keeping this album alive
The Black Panther Song is still a fucking jam 2021
This was my favorite band in high school in 2003. Thanks for this upload. I used to listen to it almost 20 times a fucking day. If I played it in my headphones under my long hair two and a half times a period was over.
hahaha im a freshman in highschool and i just recently found this band, and so the cycle continues...
Yup. had their sticker on my bike while I stole shirts from Michael's to screenprint in Ringling's dark rooms for my punk band.
Up the FL punx
@@WORLDFESTMMXCIXlol, I had their sticker on my bike that I rode every day to my freshman year of college. There's so many similar bands from this time period, but TBIAPB always comes up at the most random times in my head
about 10 years ago i got a TBIAPB sticker from PIX, i put it on my guitar, im still upset i didnt put it on my bike...
There was a dude in NYC who had his bike cut apart by SWAT because of that sticker. I took my off with acetone when I heard about it lol
@@Stollefson84 Funny enough that happened 4 times with this bands stickers, it's actually on Wikipedia haha
@@Stollefson84 did you replace it with an acetone sticker?
HF this album is so good. Thank you for this upload! #thisbikeisapipebomb #folkpunk #albumshare

Reminds me of 2003. Shitty drunk, loads of drugs, best friends, & great music.

My Leg is a pipe bomb. Great tunes.
Met these kids in Portland, they signed my road flare and made me ramen. Good times.

These guys used to play at a house I lived in in Buffalo almost annually. I miss those days.
Death trap??
The song at 9:16 is great
All the songs are excellent. Incredible lyrics.
dang I miss the old days of no responsibility and riding freight trains all over the country, and our only care was what bridge do we want to drink under, oh how the times have changed ,freinds have past away , people have changed, it will never be the same
the times we had turn into the story’s we tell the youth will all ways be lust full! Jaming this with my 3yr old❤️

Want to listen on 10" either. Get drunk and play records.
Drunk punk drunk punk
I can see your house from here...
anyone know what this band went on to be? i want more but dunno if that did anything after
Yeah, the singer/guitarist did (does?) a solo project called Rymodee that's hella good! Apparently, he's put in time with the Pine Hill Haints (Americana) but not lately. After TBIAPB, he did an Americana country folk project called Zippers to Nowhere, too.
@@slimchance893 amazing cheers!
He and Terry the bassist were doing some reunion shows under the name Evil Livin'. Also, Rymodee and drummer Teddy started a punk band called Squishers while Terry started a punk band called Basement Benders.
@@slimchance893 check out dead broke records. Amazing fucking diy punk/indie label
@@jeff7764 I dig Snuggle (have one or two 7") and have been listening to Fifteen for decades (have a few records). I don't have any Iron Chic recordings but they're good.
