This really helped me. I was raised in a Christian neighborhood since I was a child, been attending CCF since I have learned how to speak. But regardless of how long you've been hearing the word of God, still, there would be times where inner struggles would come and we would always come back to Him. I am grateful to my parents and to God, because if it weren't for God reaching out to my parents, I would never know there's such thing as spiritual maturity and I would be in a loop of helplessness.
I am uplifted somewhat after listened to your sermon Ps. Peter Tan-Chi. This is because my brother-in-law his name is Chee Heng who is now hospitalised in S'poe. His days are numbered and my sister who is his wife denied or refused to allow me a visit to him because she knew I am going to bring Lord Jesus salvation to him. I am angry with her and her daughters (they are all Goddess of Mercy worshippers). I had done all I could such as fasting and praying week after week for my bro-in-law so that he could have an opportunity to say the sinner's prayer through me but I failed to have any opportunity to visit him to do it. I have been very sad because there seems to be no headway I could lead him to a sinner's prayer anytime soon. After listening to your sermon Ps. Peter Tan-Chi, I can only surrender my worries to God's Holy Spirit to do the impossible that my bro-in-law will get a chance to say the sinner's prayer through me or someone else before he enters into eternity. It's God will that my bro-in-law should not perish but will come to the salvation of the Lord. Lord, I surrender this need and desire of me for my dear bro-in-law to you dear Father God in Heaven. I ask you Lord Jesus, Father in Heaven to bring your Will and Decree in 2 Peter 3:9 and John 3:16 to pass for my bro-in-law! Amen and thank you Lord Jesus!
Thank you Ptr .Peter. I am struggling to my anxiety, however upon listeningbto this, I'm greatful that I know I have God , I have Jesus my livibg hope. I fully understand now how to trust Lord Jesus. I surrender all my worries to him. Jesus has a great plan to my life. All I need is to trust Him. Thank you Lord Jesus for sll the blessings you have given to me.

I am amaze how you teach people about salvation. We have struggling bcoz of my brother in law suffering from chronic mental illness scritzopenia he has this condition for long he is under medication up to now .sometimes he says he is satan or he is an angel 2 years ago he almost massacre us he almost killed her own mother .I feel so restless ang traumatic .i hope you can pray for us .he is not only threat for our family but within the community .He was admitted in PGH at NCMH for his condition but his condition behavioral problem gotten worst.I believe God has a reason behind and i hope he continue to guide and protect us

In my own words, i think there are 2 types of anxiety.. the simple anxiety which is, you only worry on something, and the other one is the clinical anxiety, which is the most fearsome of all anxiety, because it deals with too much worriness, it is when you think that you might die, or thinking that you will collapse, or thinking you might pass out. The most fear you will never ever imagined and never ever understand.

Thank you for sharing this. I have been anxious from time to time ever since my father's sudden death. I couldn't even comfort my father's sister who is also mourning from the sudden death of her husband. My sadness took upon so much of my life-both emotionally and spiritually. Now that I have heard how loss and faith can be put together through sorrowful joy, I couldn't contain how grateful I am to Our Lord Jesus Christ for not giving up on me. I trust you Lord 100‰
I feel you. Same here.y fatjered died last year. But everyday. It feels like its just happened yesterday. And being anxious about it. Took my life from me from happiness and taking care of my loved ones as well. This topic enlightened me not just to overcome anxiety but to learn how to accept things that i dont have control with and to believe that everethings happens for a reason.
