I never thought I would, but I actually bought my first Hobonichi Cousin given what appears to be its high-level functionality and I’m very keen to try it for the year ahead. My planner needs to be efficient and effective (I use other outlets for artistry) and you make it seem just that even though you have a somewhat different planning style than I do. Despite the differences in how we work, I’m always inspired, encouraged, and educated by what you share every week. This is the best part about getting a new planner: setting it up😆 The floral them looks so pretty and the back cover with the vellum looks very nice with the green! It's a day after watching your video and I just received the wonderpens newsletter which for some reason made me think of you, followed by thinking you said you will be prerecoding a video while you are away where you answer some questions. Maybe I'm completely wrong, but here are some Q's! Do you miss living in Toronto, and by extension miss any stores (i.e., stationary shops)? Do you miss living in your own space? Do you have any new stationary shops you like to visit in BC? Now that you have your license, do you choose to drive more than walk now that it's an option? Any goals, big or small, personal and/or professional for 2024? Other than setting up your planner line up for the new year, do you do anything special to prepare for the new year (i.e., word of the year, change in mindset, review your routine)?
Just want to say that I have always loved your video quality. It feels REAL but I totally understand if you are wanting higher quality but please do not underestimate the impact your current setup has made on others. I know it helped me with my imposter syndrome by seeing you use what you had to record. I have been terrified to use them but seeing you use what looks like an empty sticker sheet underneath it makes tons of sense to make sure it gets stuck correctly and doesn't hit the other pages by accident. My next question is who makes those two double sided tape dispensers? I see you have the blue one and then a clear one. I have glue that dries clear but I like the idea of the tape for my vellums I've been dying to use.. another fear not getting them put in correctly. :) A little bit of a perfectionist here.
