the wheel wanted you to have lots of reading to go with your reading mojo! it turned out a great stack of books though! lots of these are on my priority TBR!
I really liked A River Enchanted!! (actually I thought Divine Rivals was a let down in comparison🙊). I am super excited about The Will of the Many too, I want to get to it soon too 👀 hehe Sam shout out 👋YAY TWISTED ONES! CURSED DEER TIME
Reading slump does suck. My goal for the rest of the year is to catch up on sequels I’ve been behind on and catch up on new releases I haven’t read yet.
Codie: "Big book came up!" Me: "Oh! So it's Abercrombie time, right? ......RIGHT??" 😂 I loved this video, it was so so fun and I can't wait to hear what you think of all these books! (Btw we have the same Jodi Taylor's book on out tbr... you'll give me the motivation to read it haha)
Love the wheel. I love how your tbr is set to let you carry on with your desired theme, I have my most anticipated book on my tbr for November. It’s 501 pages so a chunky book. Alexandra potter - More confessions of a something 40 f**k up. And a kids book about a elf for a challenge In December I plan on a few Christmas books most of which are undecided apart from a short read which is Jana Aston - the one night stand before Chrismas.
I know I loved River Enchanted, though I couldn't tell you a thing about it now 😅 And I still have Hell Bent and The Will of the Many on my TBR as well (and Iron Flame of course), I might try to get to these this month as well 🤗
Yay! Soooo happy to see the wheel back in action 😃 Iron Flame is also on my end of year TBR, as is Starling House, A Curse for True Love and Half A Soul 💜
ohh I am also looking forward to reading the will of the many, but I don't think I'll get to it this year got myself the Iron Flames audiobook just now, but won't be starting until tomorrow not really an end of year tbr but some Books I wanna read in the forseeable future: the SPFBO finalists, Nona the Ninth, Vengeful, reread the shades of magic trilogy, Sanderson's secret project #4, Ocean's Echo... and many more, I feel like I forgot some important ones xD
I've now added The Will of the Many to my end-of-year TBR. Hadn't heard much about that one before but it sounds intriguing! 😃 Some new releases I'm reading this month are Iron Flame, Bookshops and Bonedust, Checkmate by Ali Hazelwood and Dark Heir by C.S. Pacat (book 2 after Dark Rise, which was a great read!). I want to check off House of Sky and Breath before the end of the year also.
I wanted to like Clap When You Land so badly. Bought the beautiful US hardcover and everything. But, there are so many untranslated sections in that book and there is no table of contents in the back or footnotes at the bottom telling you what is being said. For me, I just find that incredibly annoying. It ruins the immersion to constantly have to put the book down and translate the parts I don't understand. It just feels pretentious and a barrier to enjoyment. How am I supposed to care about your native language if you won't even tell me what you're saying?
I miss the days when the wheel used to fall off 😆
I…do not 😂😂
Iconic 😂
