The scenes shown in this video are very beautiful, but I wonder if anyone knows why you don't see people on the promenades, walking in the streets or sitting in outdoor cafes? The whole video seems to be entirely void of people, with a few exceptions.

It's true, there weren't many people on the promenade, the recording comes from September, i.e. after the highest tourist season, so maybe that's the reason.
Because Cyprus is for cats, not for people. All young people go to UK and rest of UE or USA to study. lol
Thank both of you for taking the time to reply to my question! Much appreciated. Here in Southern California along the coast, like Laguna Beach and Newport Beach, you don't see people walking very much either. Why? It's a car culture here. And people are very lazy (and obese).
