I really like black lagoon. I didn't watch the full anime (but I read the entire manga) but I can say the best part about it was slowly watching Rock turn from an innocent business man to a crazy mercenary. And they do it so well you don't even notice, like, end of the manga and there was this little moment and I was like "omigod when did this happen?"

During the Japan arc she does wear a skirt, but it's not like being a badass bitch means she can't wear skirts. She does mellow out when Rock is no longer an emotional threat to her, and towards the end maybe she does get really mellow, but i think it's less about forcing stuff and more about Rock's character being the focal point of the story by that time. Honestly, i felt like Roberta's character took the hardest nosedive, even if what happened was the logical extreme of her character. P.S. since i made this comment, i think one last volume of the manga was released, so jury's out on whether Revy's character really takes a hit then. When I wrote that comment only up to volume 9 was released, and the Manga had gone on hiatus. I'm pretty sure the anime covered up to then as well.

very good work samurai, nice clean presentation with some good sync and fast passed timing with a well suited song but what I like the most is your lack of flashy effects that can spoil some amv's. I can see why sorrowofdestiny2009 would give this a like, you just won yourself a subscriber well done

Not bad. You synced up a lot of the words, but the beginning felt a little sluggish. 80's music is hard to do straight up action vids for since they often start low and build up to their climax. Case in point, halfway through to the end, the video and the music matched a lot better.

His personal sense of morality and his struggles to stay in the twilight in the dark environment he lives in make for an intriguing conflict that adds depth to an already philosophical storyline-see Revy's nihilistic monologue on the (lack of) value of things in episode 5 of season 1.
