I so wanted to meet Wayne Jones at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara in July. I couldn't find him, dang it! But the match was great, so there was that. I hope he takes care of that sun burn ... Up the Town!
I actually managed to take a photo with Wayne and Wrex the dragon. He said that he took everyone's advice and got some aloe vera gel and that it really helped. 🙂
So sorry you did not get to meet Wayne. Did you perhaps try the fan-zone? It is where he was located here in Vancouver. He was set up, next to The Turf tent where a small wall was located covered with the print of the signed bricks, and in the middle of the wall was the Vista Print of Rob in recline a la Titanic. There was a queue to get a chance to stand next to him and do selfies. He was very friendly and in high spirits. For fun I asked “how’s the torso” and he instantly pulled his shirt up and replied “not bad” - now his skin was medium brown. Good old aloe vera does the job. LOL.
@@denysedubois9334 I had a 4-hour drive to Silicon Valley. It was a Wednesday afternoon and there was traffic and blah, blah, blah. I got to the stadium later than planned and there wasn't a lot of time to really look for the Fan Zone before the kick off. But it sounds like he is the super nice guy he appears to be in the TV series. That makes me happy!☺
For a real 'ordinary' bloke, with zero media training, he speaks SO well and looks totally unflustered and a natural. I'd be stammering and spluttering like a good un! 👏👏
Wayne is such a great ambassador for the town. Great personality, but real, and down to earth.
