fairy tail is just one of those series with a good OP/ED record
There are a lot of anime with great openings and endings but I honestly don't believe there is another series with as good a set of openings and endings more representative of their series than Fairy Tail. On their own they all are splendid but when considering all aspects of the songs (rhythm, lyrics, mood) with the series it is one of the greatest aspects of Fairy Tail. It's always music that makes or breaks the great from the Elite and Fairy Tail is clearly in the latter.

Black Clover’s op 4 was seriously too amazing. When you compare its first few openings to Fairy tail’s I have to say it’s better but out of all of Fairy tail’s Openings, they re the winners

When the opening has better animation than the entire final season of Fairy Tail.
I don't think yall remember pre hiatus fairy tail tbh. The animation is the same as it always was lol. The only thing I can think it the much higher quality artwork makes it stand out more but the "freeze frames" people complain about have always been a part of fairy tail animation . It's a choice.
