I saw another video where the local government was trying to shut this place down because of some bull about cross-contamination, if it were in my area , I would eat raw loose meat 7 days in a row to prove a point, I already do eat a mound of raw ground beef occasionally, dimple on top with a raw farm fresh egg, salt & peppered, & cottage cheese on the side & I am a 60 yr old man from Kentucky, no food health sickness/problems with me
Best dammed sandwich in the world. I could live on them.. I used to buy them all of the time when I lived in Marshalltown, Ia. when I was 18.. I heard that you can buy them online to , but I have not found a price list. and I wonder how well a sandwich would be safe to eat traveling from Iowa to Florida.?
I'm a Maid-Rite fan for life, but I was disappointed with them recently when I came back to have one. They were dry and had not very much mustard. I heard the best Maid-Rite now isn't a Maid-Rite at all, it's something called a "Ross Burger" It's a Maid-Rite the old way, the way it should be.
You’d be wrong. The recipe hasn’t changed they are not different Taylor’s Maid Rite is still king. Sorry bud. You must be the owner of that Ross restaurant or something.
Sorry to read of your being "disappointed" with a Taylor's Maid Rite. I went to Taylor's in 2016 and 2018 and had no issues with their standard Maid Rite sandwich (would have gone in 2020, but the pandemic made it dangerous to do so like all other sit-down restaurants across the world). Anyway, I'd give 'em a try again when passing through "M-town." And remember, never .... I mean NEVER!!!, put catsup on a Maid Rite. That's just plain sacrilegious. Kinda', though not quite as bad, like putting catsup on a Chicago hot dog. Stay safe!
