Actually i just came from tawang just say 4 days ago! i went on my Thunderbird x and my friend on Himalayan, next we followed the same route as yours but while coming back i got to know there is another much better road. The road of Sona and Rupai! damn sooo good! Loved the whole journey! we got alot of ice in sela pass.
Hello, I am from North East Tezpur (Assam). And I had been to Tawang this year in 2020. It was my first ride. I went with my friends who are also new riders and it was our first experience. The roads of Tawang are surprising and surprises us in a very unexpected way. As we went through the mountains, we felt like we were also part of the mountains. I really liked the way you stayed in a tent outdoors in a totally different world. Nowadays I seldom find bikers doing that. I have toured in Himachal, Kashmir, Rajasthan and NE and seen so many groups sticking to ITINERARIES. Whatever happened to LIVE FREE tag we bikers used to boast. And yes, Arunachal offers the most gruelling and no roads situations like no other. However as someone said it true, the experience is all that it matters. Car and bike differences does matters.... Your helmet did not have any wipers so during fog visibility decreased but that Tata sumo had wipers and AC vents on windshield so it can easily drive through fog without slowing its speed
