I'm amazed this route still works, came back for the expansion and when they replaced First Light with Elysian Wilds it totally fucked my most used iron route. Thank you for this!
I will find more routes and post those as well, have 1 other one up now and another that I an thinking of doing next.
This was also my old favorite route, i was really saddened that they replaced this area with the Dlc instead of creating a new region. I had farmed iron so much in this area, that this route was really something that was close to my heart in New World, being a big farmer crafter... I feel like I lost something very important ...
@@Magitek_Armor Honestly it would have been really nice to see the area with the huge pine tree forest on the south western end of Brimstone Sands instead. I always love teetering as close to the edge of death there as possible to get to look at it a little bit more!
Elysian Wilds is easily one of my favorite zones now, but they should have added in a small handful of zones to make the mount feel more impactful. We need more zones, not revamped ones!
@@user-rl5qi6vr7h Elysian Wild is also my favorite zone, I love this floral and wild aspect, it reminds me of my favorite and old league on Path of Exile: Harvest.
I took a lot of screenshots with the alt+H trick to remove the HUD. Indeed, an addition of zones is essential, especially with the mounts, especially since the farming spots are taken by storm with the Dlc and the return and the new players, and we have lost one of the best routes for iron. So an overall iron loss. I hope that in the future the Dlc's will be new zones for more comfort.

Thanks alot! Also when your showing the map, you can of click it off a bit too fast so maybe another 1-2 seconds would be great to see the location. I tend to rewind and miss out the actual area 🙂@@MMOGamingGuy

this game seems to be quite good now last i plaied was launch glad to see its coming along
I am having fun with the Ironman Challenge of no trading post etc, lots to do still.
They made leveling easier and gathering skill easier but stuff like furnishing is still super hard which is cool.
Mounts now too!
So how can you play this game craft stuff if 4000 ppl steel your veins except if you get up in the morning at 4:00 am?
I think its busier than normal right now is all.
Got to try all the iron ore routes.

The new area went by a lot faster than Brimstone Sands but I still have a lot more to do out there.
Lots of new gear dropped, flail is ok but I need more time with it and I dropped the Odo Flail )GS 700 Artifact Weapon) on the first kill out there which is great.
Playing Iron Man Challenge so I have a LOT of work ahead to skill up to 250, the 0-200 is way faster sort of now.
Mounts are GREAT.

@@geraltgrey-mane695 Having a blast and got up to 65 fast, now the hard part of skilling up.
soo iron has a respawn time of 15 minutes. any ideas for a loop that takes 15 min to complete and is fairly simple ?
I do know of one 13 minutes long and have been running it a ton to test the results. Will post it soon.
Nice video but on my server this ended up being farmed to no end by high level people..nice to know..pointless to try
Some servers are packed for sure, sometimes on those busy servers its empty later at night.
im missing about 1300 iron ore. too many people and bots competeing for this stuff

I wish I had, the live server pressure had ne rushing too much.

@@Dadbeard89 Making videos on live servers gets rough, don't want to miss veins, don't want to drag out the videos and I get one shot at it in one take. The pressure lol
Why are so few people there to Farm? In my Server every node is taken
Sometimes they are taken but other times not, most times if you hit the trees around there then check the iron you find it active then when new people come looking, there is nothing there and they give up but I keep at it.
I have another video of an Iron Farm up that has way less people at.

dude use your map, how do you make this video basing the location on trees rocks and earthspines come on
Ah I use them as indicators for the trail I take is all.
Once you do this run a lot you will end up using the same things and not use the map at all.
