Let’s Go Hike! Sights and sounds of Spring in Northern Michigan

Spring in Michigan is magical. Creeks flow faster, buds begin to emerge and the song of the peepers fill the woods.
Follow me and Freyja today as we immerse ourselves in all spring has to offer as we hike along the Manistee River on the North Country Trail.
Today’s hike starts at Harvey Bridge, mile marker MI-779.5 on the North Country Trail, located just East of Mesick, Mi. We hike out 3 miles and turn back. Those 3 miles are filled to the brim with sights and sounds and fantastic views of the river.
