Hey Richard very few people share their tricks of the trade. I wish I could have a live training program in South Africa. All the best bro
Hey I am also from South Africa 🇿🇦
I am 23 & had to put my foot down, suck it up & learn the trade the hard way.. the higher the complexity of your skills, the higher the demand, the higher your pay 😉 I am in cellphone repairs, micro soldering & other electronic repairs
Practice Practice Practice - use broken phones, pester your friends and family to get their old phones. Most people have old phones lying in drawers and cupboards. Take it apart and try to put it back together. If it doesn’t go as planned - no big deal. It’s about learning. As he says once you learn the basics you can pick up variances in different models from RUclips videos. Good luck everyone and thanks for the awesome content.🙂👍
Great video! I’ve must of rewatched every video twice... thank you for your knowledge!! Cheers from upstate New York
Hey man just wanted to say super thanks for showing this and talking about it, you present very clearly and professional. I know a few years back I was asking for glass only repairs on s5 all the ships in my area only offered them in iPhone , those that did offer they would quote $300-400 , which made zero sense on a two year old phone . They would claim the screen glass and digitize are fused permanently. I ended up buying my own hot air etc and playing around with mobile phones , this equipment you use , next level
Yes I've watched it all and yes you are so motivated guy pushing energy to all your subscribers,... Keep up the good work
Thanks for watching👍
I like your videos man. You make things so simple and easy to understand. That's why I keep watching them. I appreciate it man

Richards if a s9 landed on its bottom left edge and has a thin micro crack running up along the side , not noticeable most of the time , would you advise a vinyl screen protector or a 9h tempered glass overtop to keep it dust free etc, till it can be remarried properly
Hey hey Richard how is ur day goin . I will. Be Ready to take ur course next month and start my journey in the cell phone repair business

just came across your video! thanks for the knowledge, I am currently running a iPhone screen repair MOBILE shop. I go to either the customers home or their workplace to replace front screens and batteries.. I was looking to get a kiosk in the mall before getting a brick and mortar shop. I know I'll have to get savvy with Samsung repairs as well as component repairs inside the phones. I'm doing craigslist ads for repairs as well as facebook ads. Any tips you can give me on expanding?
where do you buy the screens from?

Hi Richard, what is the best software that can be used for inventory ? Also what is the machine name that make separation glass ?
Hey Richard love your videos , just question where do you get your Samsung's screen parts ?

Now I have an S8. Screen and LCD totally broken. After three months, I am finally getting my hands on a new screen
I believe I have a video on that phone in my channel.

You know why i subscribed"that word"marketing
I like your video’s
Thank you👍
Where to buy the screen and parts
I have so many original apple screens lol
So where do u get your inventory from in bulk
Would you recommend just using the wire method and LOCA application to start out? You don’t necessarily need the freezer and laminating station. Just makes it a whole lot easier. Nice video btw
I used to use Loca all the time. That's only used for inframe method. Out of frame is Oca glue sheets. There is a difference between the two.
WHICH ONE IS MORE DIFFICULT DIEGO HARD OR SOFWARE REPAIRE
you look like that guy from old snl and portlandia.. omg... Fred Armisem 2.0 haha
Do have a link for the overhead stand you use?
I will work on that in next couple days. I have to update all my links underneath the videos.
super video!!!thanks Richard for opening my eyes!!!looking for a cell phone screen refurbishing companies in europe..maybe you can help me?
They have them in the US. You can mail them here and have them mailed back to you. DHL is a pretty fast overseas shipping company to use.
@@RichardMeza thanks for the respond.i will try
How much does it cost to buy the screens and inventory? Better question, if I wanted to focus on Iphones, what level of inventory should I have?
So this is bigger than I thought but...I just really started advertising myself as a business. When someone would want a screen I would order 2 of that screen. Even if the person didnt come back that is at least a low cost start to inventory. After about 3 months I had profited a full $1000 (that means over my cost of goods). I took that $1000 to a bank to keep my funds separate from personal, and made this inventory list based on all the repairs I had done over that 3 months. There are a few more things than just iPhone parts but it is mostly iPhone. I hope this helps someone, that first 3 months was discouraging but I am looking to open a store front by Feb and started this venture this summer.

Hey Rich, do you repair iphone 8 and up back glass? If so can you make a video of you repairing? Would be very helpful.
I'll start doing them later this month
@@RichardMeza ok cool. I've been researching it. I repaired a iphone xr back glass but when it comes to the 8 & x its harder for some reason.
@@jeremiahsterling2250 What's harder? The glue?
@@RichardMeza No. Just removing the shattered glass. Its easier on the xr then it is for the 8 and x
@@RichardMeza Yes i use a heat gun.
What would be the starting point phones of today, seeing as this video is a year old? Shouldn’t still be the Samsung S8+ and the Note 9.
Which iphones do you suggest me practicing with before starting the business. i'm not sure which models are different from the interior. In terms of screen replacements.
Buy an iPhone 7 and iPhone X. If you learn those, the others are similar.
@@RichardMeza thanks brotha
@23:09 is the phone in your right hand (left side of the screen from a viewer perspective) just a case? You referred to it as "this" if you have no money how are you getting new screens are you asking the clients to pay for it and then you order it or do you order them ahead of time?
Watch the video again. I explain it as simple as I could.
Richard Meza I watched it several times but thank you for introducing me to this info Gona peep out a vid that breaks that part down specifically. Thanks for the content you do a good job not knocking you
Since you already got the hook up on screens would you ever because a wholesaler for is to buy from??
i didn't get that wow
I think he meant would you ever become an wholesaler as you already have the supply contacts?
Just discovered your videos, like the content and used it to repair my Samsung Note 8 Screen thanks.
How do you unlock or jailbreak? And where do you get the parts?
I dont jailbreak or unlock iPhones. Stopped doing that years ago.
@@RichardMeza WHY????????
Hey! Is there a refurbishing company you would recommend?
That info is part of my course. iPhone and Samsung refurbishing.
@23:13 what's the point of keeping an old "good" cracked screen? Are you going to sell the glass to some manufacturing company? And what is a refurbishing company I thought this process you described to fixing the phone is refurbishing. What does the refurbishing company come into place you said you still make profit? You said they do the work for you. how long does this process take days? I thought you said in a video customers feel more comfortable if you do the work in front of them in the mall vs in a coffee shop they don't want to walk away and come back, so if you are sending their phone off to be repaired doesn't that make another issue of them waiting too long? I may be misunderstanding. but please let me know
Too many questions.
Richard Meza no such thing!!!
My question is, what do you tell people on the repair when you out source the work, like on a glass only repair or a back glass repair for example. Normally on a regular iPhone repair, I'd just tell the customer that it would be done in 30 minutes. What about something like that?
You are swapping out the full screen with the frame. Customer gets another full screen and frame put on their phone. Their phone get repaired in 30 minutes this way. You keep their cracked screen with the frame and put it aside to keep and wait until you have enough to send to the screen refurbishing company. They give you back new looking screens with brand new looking frames.
@@RichardMeza I understand that, but you were mentioning out sourcing in your video. That takes time and most customers don't want to be without their phone for longer than an hour usually. Out sourcing the repair would take getting the broken screen off, sending it to someone else while they send you a new one however many days later, and then you can put the new screen on and return to customer.
Unless I'm missing something, but I figured that's how it works when you don't have the parts on hand. Like when starting up your business
@@TravisTravesty No. You give them a new screen on the spot. It's the same thing if you were going to repair an iPhone. You install a new screen and you keep their good working cracked screen. Full repair takes 30 min. Not days. Customer is not without their phone. You can do the full replacement screen right there in front of the customer. You keep their old screen to swap out at a later time to the refurbishing company.
@@RichardMeza I gotcha. Thanks Richard. So in that instance you would buy the screen before hand and have it already, then send back their cracked screen and have another one ready from that
Hi i have a question for anybody that has a answer for me? I was replacing my iphone 7 screen everthing went well but my home button stopped working . I purchased a new home button but it still nothing working. What am i doing wrong?
You probably damaged your home button. Only the Apple store can fix that since the button is actually a sensor and its linked to the phone by a security feature. In the meantime you can put a temporary ghost home button on your screen until you get it fixed. Go in settings/accessibility/Assistive touch and click to activate it.
Richard Meza Thanks!!
He reminds me of Gilbert Gottfried.
Hey brother thank you for the video even it was a year ago very informative can you please hook me up with refurbishing company and recombination??
That info is part of my cell phone repair course
I can make you a website that will blow all other websites out of the water
I have a website.
I really can't agree with your logic.I does not appear that you are adding apples to apples.So.....you think that a person is going to meet me at a coffee shop and pay me the same amount as they pay a brick and mortar shop?
I did it for a year and half. You don't have to agree. I already did it and people are doing it today all over the country.
Why didnt you do this? Not ground breaking this is what 90% of people do? What did you do? Spend a lot of money?
I dont know what topic your question is on?
