If I played Z52 more, I think I would get the leg mod. I’ve seen some other players with it and it looks like it’s a nice addition to the ship. Fortunately it’s not a necessary thing to make the ship work.
I’d say try out the Yamato leg mod next. Since it’s relatively easy to test and you already have a baseline for the normal setup. That and you hate the ship, so maybe it will change your mind about Yamato

I got spee maxed and on z52 with legendary mod , not top dd but absolutely near top for comps
