not for this performance tho. i get that you love her but you cant lie on "live performance vocals are exactly the same as studio vocals". you can CLEARLY and OBVIOUSLY hear how she was dodging the chorus part where she was supposed to belt those high notes. she tone it down a lil bit and i think she did it beautifully
@@xztrfyxz it's to keep her voice from being fatigued, especially since she plans to go on a world tour shortly. also it's a general rule of thumb for live singing to drop the note than to risk sounding flat. the difference between studio and live is that her best takes can be cut together, hitting that note completely consistently without EVER sounding flat is hard for a lot of singers, especially when they're as young as olivia is.
Olivia continues to amaze us with her new album. This album was so great. Her voice just keeps getting better and I loved how she explain the concept of GUTS. I'm excited of this new era for Olivia!
