I love Patrice to the bone she is my favorite artiste but Alison Hinds tho 👀. I think the way Patrice holds the mic effects the way she sounds, idk why most artiste do this technique, it really does your vocals no favors. Alison sounded so full & powerful while Patrice sounded a bit forced & muffled. Alison's delivery, clarity, energy & confidence was on point, her songs are timeless but both ladies were fantastic. I'm Trini living in Grenada, the entire caribbean is full of so many beautiful & talented women/people in general 🇹🇹🇬🇩🇧🇧
Patrice struggles to sing and hit those notes. She should find a new key to sing in if she can't hit those notes. But, I agree her voice sounds very strained.
You are bang on point, I see a lot of novices to the game holding the mic in this manner, this is where Alison's experience shines through. She came out through the Richard Stoute teen talent show in Barbados and this is where I also learned of mic technique and diction etc in aim of clarity for live performances. Holding the mic as Patrice does, is one of my pet peeves. All in all, the show was entertaining.

She was so gracious to take a picture with me, and I printed it. Yes, print not digital. I went to her concert, of course, that night which was amazing. Here, Ms. Hinds still has grace and stamina. She was so gracious to take a picture with me, and I printed it. Yes, print not digital. I went to her concert, of course, that night which was amazing. Here, Ms. Hinds still has grace and stamina.
