Thanks so much, I really appreciate that! 🙏 It’s comments like yours that remind me why I love doing this in the first place. I’ll definitely keep making the videos I enjoy, and I’m so glad you’re along for the ride. Your support means a lot, mate-thank you for watching and sticking with the channel! 👊😊 Stay awesome Chris :)
Yeah I'm like you. I've only recently got back into RC and I chose Arrma. I was stuck in the house most evenings so I bout the senton and 2 months later I also have the Mojave 4s, Outcast 4s and infraction for pissing about in the street. I go to Acton Park in Wrexham ( 3 minutes away from home.... Google it, it's gorgeous ). I go a few evening's a week.... as nights draw in I'll go weekends. It's nice to get out from the dullness of 4 walls and a tv to escape. I think that we're very similar and would be good to meet up one day. Keep up with the content mate, I enjoy it !
That sounds awesome, mate! I completely get where you're coming from-sometimes you just need to escape those four walls and let loose with the RCs! Acton Park sounds like an amazing spot, I’ll definitely have to check it out on Google. We do seem to have a lot in common, and who knows, maybe one day we’ll have a meetup and rip the RCs together! Thanks for the support, it really means a lot, and I’m glad you’re enjoying the content. Keep having fun out there with your fleet! 👊🔥 Stay awesome Chris :)
Wont fit buddy unless i change the motor mount again to the rear facing motor mount . Alot like the Arrma trucks , M2c make one , maybe one day ill pick one up soon . Stay awesome Chris :)
I completely agree with you about the rc hobby being good for taking you a way to a calm relaxed place where all worries or just daily stress seem to fade away. Great videos thanks for sharing 👍
Hey buddy I hope your ok and well , nothing beats it in my opinion it don’t matter if your running them or working on them just a peaceful time among all the craziness of day to day life . My mind is melted when I’ve been working all week and find it hard to decompress then I head to a quite area just to breathe and have fun and the world is a better place Stay awesome Chris 🤙🚀🛞🤘
Hi Chris, 100% agree with you on not pushing too hard. xtreme bashing will break any truck no doubt. Some you tubers will show extreme bashing and jumping because it gets views from people, in the process they have monetised channels and some i imagine earn a decent living from it. This of course funds the replacement parts. For me, I work and anything that breaks I need to pay for so better to temper a bit and preserve the trucks. I and my son really enjoy bashing around in the dirt or grass and my son likes to jump sometimes but 5 to10 feet not 20 plus feet. We are going to give racing a go, just bought a TT01 from my local hobbyshop in Stevenage and will build it over the next few weeks. Sounds like a good way to enjoy RC during the colder times, TT01 is also pretty affordable. All in all, most people do not run extreme in skate parks and silly jumps and there is no need. Just picked up a Hobao SS on ebay influenced by your SSTE vids, goodness its a good 1/8 buggy,, along with our team associted RC8 my son and I have 2 great 1/8 buggy bashers. Anyway, good video, :)
Got to agree with you bud there pick of the pack normally and not just a one trick pony there good at most things and having fun is most certainly one of them hey . Stay awesome bud Chris :)
I am with you its therapy to go out and drive the rc not demolish it for views for someone's pleasure to see me break a car and spend my money to fix it thats not for me as well just gives me a reason to go out and have fun ripping around with a toy car as an adult what can say its fun gets my mind off the back pain for a little bit at least
I totally get where you're coming from! Driving RCs is such a great way to unwind and escape for a bit. It's all about having fun and enjoying the hobby without the pressure to destroy our rigs. I'm glad you're finding some relief and enjoyment through it-happy bashing! 🚗💨✨ Stay awesome Larry my friend Chris :)
Thank you buddy so pleased to hear that you guys appreciate what im doing . most of us dont smash our trucks up because we own them , we drive them and look after them . Stay awesome Chris :)
@@ChriswithaCrc yes 100% i personal like when you get back home and everything is ready to for the next time out and i can’t really afford to replace parts all the time
No complaints here on the content, I tend to “baby” my cars…your statement that “this car is wasted on me” applies to me as well lol! I’m less than a year back in to rc’s. A topic I think doesn’t get enough attention is “what to expect.” There are probably tons of “things” you veterans take for granted that newbies don’t even realize are “things” at all. For me, this has been in regards to a brand new car, what amount of adjustments or issues are reasonable. Example: got the new VORTEKS rwd and the mesh was so tight the rear wheels wouldn’t roll along the ground pushing the car by hand. I fixed it but if that was my 1st car ever I might’ve sent it back. Another, got a new Notorious this year and the steering is so weak it barely makes a u-turn on a 2 way street. Horizon sent me a replacement servo, but now I have to do that work myself. Maybe should’ve returned it for a different one? Maybe I’m too picky and that’s the way the Notorious should feel? Thanks Chris!
I totally get where you're coming from! It’s easy to think something’s wrong when you're just starting out, but a lot of those “little things” are part of the hobby that veterans just adjust to naturally. I love the idea of covering “what to expect” in more detail-there are definitely things new hobbyists shouldn’t feel alone about. Like your experience with the VORTEKS mesh and the Notorious steering, those are things I would’ve struggled with in the beginning, too. You’re not being too picky-sometimes it's just a case of learning what's normal and what isn’t. I’ll definitely take this onboard for future videos, and thanks for sharing your experiences, mate! 👊🔥
I'm an opportunist...if I see something, I can jump without doing major damage, I'm gonna jump it. But I don't have any big jump ramps or anything like that. Basically, I just rip around my yard doing wheelies, etc.. although I do need to explore some different bash spots eventually
Sounds like you're having a blast with those yard rips and wheelies! Sometimes, the spontaneous jumps are the best kind-you never know what you're gonna get, but it's all about having fun and seeing what your rig can handle. Exploring new bash spots is definitely worth it though. You never know when you'll find that perfect spot to really send it! Maybe start with some local parks or dirt trails to mix things up. Keep having fun with it, man! Stay awesome Chris :)

Chris, firstly, never apologise for talking about men's mental health. it's good for men to talk instead of bottling shit up! As for your channel, i would like to see you explain the working of an rc vehicle, keeping it simple, not all your audience has your knowledge, sometimes pitch the videos at the learners as well and how your mistakes made you learn, what are the common errors, explain the difference between the vehicles and who they are aimed at etc, etc, how the hobby has moved on and where you see it going as as the cost of living goes up so does this hobby, and like you I to don't jump or mistreat the vehicles as I can't afford to always repair them also a lack of knowledge doesn't help 😅. You get the picture about what I'm trying to say. The videos are still good and do help dude. Thanks pal. Neil 🤣🤙🤙🤙
Hey Neil, thanks so much for your comment mate, and you're absolutely right-there’s no need to apologize for talking about men’s mental health. It’s such an important conversation, and I’m really grateful for all the support from you guys. 💪 As for your suggestion, I really appreciate the feedback. You're spot on-sometimes we all need to go back to basics, and I’d love to make more videos that explain the workings of an RC vehicle in simpler terms. Not everyone is at the same level, and sharing the lessons I've learned (often the hard way 😅) could definitely help others avoid the same mistakes. I’ll start working on content that breaks down things like common errors, vehicle differences, and even how the hobby has evolved. And yeah, with the cost of living going up, it's harder for many of us to afford constant repairs and upgrades, so I get where you're coming from! Thanks again for the support and great ideas, Neil! It really helps keep me motivated to make content that benefits everyone. 🤙 Let's keep growing this hobby together! Stay awesome Chris :)
