That was the innovation that finally let me make them consistently! The first time I ever did a signficant number was with metallic floss so I needed a truly fool-proof method. Thanks for watching!
Yay, a Nugget appearance! Thanks for sharing your knowledge on these stitches. Super helpful and clear, especially that French knot which always boggles my mind when I get to them.
It took me a long time to master them, and no one else's technique quite worked (especially with Light Effects/Metallic floss) which is why I developed my own method. Thanks for watching!
E been cross stitching for about 50 years and I’m so glad I found you! I enjoy your tips and tricks so much. Even in my 80s I’m learning new things! Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video. Just the other day I watched again a previous video you had made with similar context, because I couldn't remember how exactly to do the stitch when two different colours are sharing one square. This new one I think it'is even better, more complete and covers every case! Thanks again 😍🧵🪡
Thanks for the very clear instructions and demonstration of these stitches! I know they will be much easier next time I have to work them! And hello to Nugget❤
Hi Ford, thanks for another great video. Could you do a video that shows how stitches look based off the different fabric and fabric counts? I have been trying to see how each type of fabric changes how a cross stitch can look but so far I haven’t been able to find close up views on the same video. Thank you!!!
Thanks for the great video! I have to redo a small pattern from last year that called for fractional stitches. I had no idea what I was doing and it came out looking like a hot mess 😅 Definitely not frame worthy! I've been cross stitching for 3 years and your French knots video is one of the best! I love doing French knots! Last year, I did a pattern that called for 22 French knots all near each other. I has no problem making 22 French knots! Great to see Nugget back!
Thx for the video. I am new in the cross-stitch community, and that's a lot . I wonder if you have a video for that loop method with a different strands number .. does it work for 2 3 4 strands .and how to finish
That's on the list for upcoming videos for sure! 2 and 4 are easy; just use 1 strand doubled over or 2 strands doubled over. Odd numbers are harder! Thanks for watching!
Can you do/have done a tutorial on back stitch. Mine never looks really neat so I avoid patterns with back stitch and nobody seems to like doing it either.
Please remove from your channel the auto-dubbed, you speak french and it sounds awful, i don't why, but a few channels lately got that feature automatically, i can't hear nothing , it sounds so bad, please 😒
Thanks for showing me the 1/4 stitch and French knot. 👏🏻👏🏻🥰🇨🇦
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching and commenting!
I am so enjoying all your videos, I learned crosstitch when I was 7, came up with my little ways, no internet back then. You never stop learning.
Always new knowledge to be gained! Thanks for watching!
Lovely to see Nugget again! Another very clear & concise explanation of frequently found stitches. Thank you!
You are so welcome! Thanks for taking the time to comment!
Ford is the best. I think he is an excellent teacher😀
Aw shucks! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!
Thank you SO MUCH for demystifying the French Knot for me! The simple yet basic step of placing your thumb on top of the Aida was eye opening for me.

Love your supervisor. Reminds me of Barnita.

I like your helper. I have two Parakeets.
Oh, "helper" is a bit of a stretch. The do like to perch on my hoop and peck at my needle while I try to stitch though! Thanks for watching!
❤ Nugget.
I'll pass the word along! They're the cutest. Thanks for watching!
