Bro! This style/genre of music has been around for a few years BUT peso pluma has put it on the map. To be honest I wasn’t a fan of the style because it was mostly about cartel lifestyle but now it’s all I been listening too. Peso pluma took it to another direction and it’s becoming popular in US, Colombia, Argentina and Central America. Passing the popularity of reggaetón in Mexico for sure.

Siempre me pregunte por que la música banda, corrido, polka norteña no evolucionaba en México y parecía estancada, este morro esta por fin llevando este estilo regional a un gusto más global, no me gustan sus letras pero la música esta chida.
Reconocimiento especial a los músicos q trae PP, la vdd yo la escucho por los instrumentos no soy fan de como canta jaja
Es que se hacía muy tradicional, solo tenía sus variantes entre regiones, por ejemplo la polka de Coahuila o Chihuahua es más acelerada y alegre que la de Nuevo León, si quieres escuchar algún estilo de música mexicana de ese tipo tendría que haber una fusión con sonidos como la banda y un exponente que lo convierta a la frescura moderna, osea es un proceso
