Thank you for the great video, dude! No fluff, no useless filler just straight to the point. The wiring color codes are GOLD! Did the wire taps come in the kit or did you buy them somewhere else? If somewhere else where and what are they called?
You are great at this diy install on the Rav4. Simple easy to follow instructions with perfect explanations on why your doing what you have to do.I followed your vid for front led fog lights installation and they turned out perfect.I think i may be brave enough to try this install , they look awesome. @@BulletSolano Could you please tell me if you know what is the red cable for on the connector with the three wires? Mine only has 2 wires (remember I am in Europe so it may be different). I have ordered the 3 function one so I am a bit concerned while waiting for it to arrive.
@@BulletSolano oh, I thought you moved these over to the new one. Probably wouldn't have been worth it. That's kind of a big task. I've read about a few people getting water inside of these lights, and that's why I was asking how they were holding up for you.
Hi. I just installed the same lights on my 2019 RAV4, and they look awesome! But now when I start my car, I get Pre- Collision System Malfunction, Secondary Collision Brake System Malfunction and LTA Malfunction. How to resolve? Please advise.
I am having the same issue. Gonna pull it apart today. Its worthwhile to note that these lights do take on moisture which in turn can be causing all the malfunction lights to come on.

Hi, I have a 2017 RAV4 LE. I failed an inspection because they said my rear bumper lights were off, needed to replace. I went and looked at those but there’s no actual bulbs. They are just reflectors. Do you know what they meant by that? Or did they just lied to have me pay them to get the reflectors replaced? I would really appreciate if you could help!
Hi I have a 2020 Rav4 Hybrid XSE. I tried installing these lights. I followed all of your directions and connected the wires the same way you did, but when I turn the car on, the lights did not turn on. The only difference was that I used blue cable splicers instead of the red ones you used. Could that make a difference? Is there anything else I could try to make them work? Thank you so much! Your videos are awesome and have really helped me to upgrade my car! This is the one thing I can’t seem to get to work.
Hello I just installed mine the same as you and my lights don’t light up when I brake, they stay the same brightness at all times? Any ideas what to do?
Never mind I got it to work, needed to squeeze the clips more, also accidentally had on of the metal flaps not engage the T tap. I used t tap connectors by the way
Don't buy these LED lights with the AMOPA brand name. Those LEDs have water condensation inside the light. AMOPA told me that their LEDs need heat ventilation. This implies that these AMOPA lights are NOT waterproof. Their recommendation is to remove the light to "air it out" ... as if removing the rear bumper to do this is a 2-minute ordeal.
@@antlocal80 When the moisture afftects the electrical in the light, it will disable your cruise control and a host of other features that depend on auto braking. I had to disconnect those lights to get clear out a ton of warning lights on the dashboard.
@@Chitown388 took the car to Toyota and they said remove all the LED lights from the car which I've replaced every light with LED so I'm just gonna start with these because I can visually see they are taking on water. What use is a fog light if it takes on water 🤔
@@antlocal80 I simply disconnected the wires to those tail lights and all the problems went away. It was too much a hassle to put those back to OEM. I had similar problem with the door handle bowl LED lights; which disables the power adjustment of the side mirrors. I put those back to OEM since they were easy enough to do. I left all my other LEDs alone, all the interior LED lights, LED fog lights, tailgate LED lights, etc. Those are not creating any dashboard lights for me.
You don't like messing with your car / electrical, but you have no problem drilling unnecessary holes into your bumper? You could have just ran the wire through the hole the reflector / light tab goes into...? Those lights look so OUT OF PLACE with your NON led tail lights. 🤷 Also, most of these things are way CHEAPER on eBay. I just bought some rear bumper lights for $33 including tax. 🤗
😂😂😂😂 you’re like 3 years late to the party, I already have a new rav4 buddy!! But ok you get the cheaper stuff and you’re doing the same out of place LEDs with your non led taillights? 😂😂😂😂 ok thanks for the unnecessary comment 😂

The reflector lights on the bumper also got got signal lights as well or just brake lights?
Yes
Both signal and brake lights. But I didn't connect the turn signal wire. The red signal led didn't look right with the factory yellow/amber.
What size splice clips did you use???

how do you install the rear led fog lights on nissan kicks? , I want them to be dim when I turn lights on and brighter when I brake
