It's fanfilms like this that just underscore how loved Star Wars has become: not only fun to watch but an extremely impressive labor of love. It is beyond amazing that this is (almost 😉) due to the efforts of one person. As a longtime fellow Star Wars fan, I applaud you. Incredible work^^ Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for taking the time to watch this and to leave this awesome comment! This kind of support helps me and my channel a lot and gives me inspiration to keep making content!
Well done, my Friend. I could definitely see the passion you have for the S.W. Universe. I've been watching and reading everything I could since the very beginning, 45 years ago. I've compiled a pretty complete library, well over 600 novels at this point, although I must admit I've fallen behind in my reading lately. Thanx so much for your contribution to OUR Star Wars Universe.
I’m sure I’ll get some clap back from the 45 year old idiot living in moms basement , but I really enjoyed this mini movie!!! I think your vision of Star Wars is outstanding and I applaud your work of art! Thank you
Obviously some rough edges to be expected from not having an unlimited budget and teams of professionals handling every part... But A LOT of this was vastly better than Disney. By orders of magnitude
Dude absolutely loved this fan film! I was sent here by Vader Reviews as he reviewed your totally awesome fanfilm. I think it's absolutely amazing that you made the costume and did all of the acting and other things yourself. Absolutely fantastic! Can't wait to see more! I think George Lucas would be proud of you.
Thank you for the recognition, yeah, it was a very complex process, but that's what I liked about it! I was able to express my creativity on several levels! ! And thanks for telling me know about this review, I never thought I would get one, totally surprised me, awesome!
Thank You Buddy , I wouldn't have been able to do it without you! For Everybody: This Guy helped me with the voices, he made the voice impressions for Vader, Ackbar, K2-So, Stormtrooper Commander! He did an awesome job, a very nice fellow who really deserves more attention!
Great job! Especially on the sound design and voice acting, that's a pretty solid range for one person, and felt really at home for Star Wars. Some feedback if I may, I think the Vader costume could benefit from some kind of foam padding around the arms and legs, to make them "swol". Vader actually had padding on his limbs so people couldn't tell by looking which parts were cybernetic and which were flesh. Maybe this could be done by wrapping foam around your limbs, taping it, and then wearing the costume (rather than modifying it itself) sort of like how kid's superhero costumes often have foam muscles. But I'm sure you can make something better than those lol Also I think Vader's dueling style was slightly off, he was restricted by his suit and had trouble raising his arms above his head, but it afforded him great strength. He would fight more like a "wall", not something you could push or stagger, due to his weight and cybernetic strength. More "stiff and rigid". Although I can see how it'd be much harder to depict his style, having to fight yourself. I do really love how he took a lightsaber blow to the shoulder, though. You portrayed his endurance and resilience quite well :)
Thanks, it was quite a job to put the scene together, but at least I didn't have to look for a 2 meter tall fellow for the Vader role, I just scaled myself up a lttle bit!
This is a very nice Work. I am working on a Captain Rex (Rebels) Fan Film. I hope i can do the same great stuff like you. For the Clone Brothers we lost. May the Force be with you! Allways.
Hi, I'm glad you liked it, the Vader costume is not from Wish, I made it myself, cost me less than 30 dollar, as I made all costumes you can see in the film, I wanted to show that even without budget it's possible to put a Star Wars fan film together!
Great Film! Fan or otherwise! Thank you for sharing it! Is Darth Syrus, Vader's Apprentice? If Captain Weston, age is ≈45 in this (4 ABY), then he'd have been ≈ 26 in 19 BBY/Order 66?
Thanks for the comment! Yeah, I had something better in my mind, but to fight against myself (I play Vader as welll !) Is rather difficoult, and all of it in front of a small green screen in my living room....
Yeah, I know, that's my wife said as well🙂, but this is a"The Empire wins" kinda episode. The Mouse droid was a free 3D model, not a real one, but yeah, not a bad idea to build it in real!
@@_MandoCalrissian you're right, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that, I underestimated the the amount of work remained. I'm working on 4 different helmets on the same time, they are coming, stay tuned!
I know the Vader costume is far from perfect, but this is a "zero" budget one man production, I made the the costumes myself and I had to keep the cost very low....
Magic!🙂 But I can tell you the secret, I used green screen l recorded myself in different roles than I put the scene toghether in After Effects. Have to note the camera positions and the lights.Lots of work!
@@lefthander3807 Yep, obviously green sceen had to be involved, but I mean how did you manage to not look into the wrong direction and hit the air randomly all the time instead of the other character who wasn´t physically there. :D
@@Mouse_Metal your're right that part wasn't easy. If it was a steady shot I put a helmet on a tripod to know where to look. When It was a fight I imagined the position of my opponent, and I hit in that direction.I had to find the same rhythm, same angle, and find the spot where the blades will meet...I made a lots of planning what I wiil able to do, and I made practice shtots to see if they work. Than I recorded 10 times the same movement in a little bit different angle and speed to make sure I had one good, still I had to rerecord lot of them.Yeahh, it was fun!😅
How sad that the screenwriter went so far overboard! Moreover, the story was unnecessary because the Emperor allowed Bothan spies to procure Death Star II plans. What’s more, the Rebel Alliance had already learned about the Death Star II from its plans procured by the Both spies. The Jedi character totally went against canon. A secret rendezvous would NOT have required an entire armada, either. What a waste of a story for such good production values!
Thank you for watching my video, this little film never intended to be "canon", just a production of a Star Wars fan, putting my favorite characters in one project and telling a possible SW story, nothing more. Not only Bothan spies worked for the Alliance, and we do not know what spying methods were used, the Emperor not allowed spies procure the plans so easily "Many Bothan died to bring us this information. " If you watched the video you know that the Spy wasn't a Jedi "only" a Force user so this not against canon , in Star Wars a non-Jedi can develop a Force bond with a lightsaber as well. And finally it's not an entire armada only 10-12 escort fighters "just in case"!
yall are hyping this up way too much. the dialogue was very corny and the jedi dude looked like Michael Scott. some cool stuff with the lightsaber fight but lot of cheesy lines especially with Vader
thank you for watching my video and giving your opinion, I wish it was hyped, 3.2 K views far from that, if was 300 K maybe...
