Jasoor smells like Azarro Wanted in the mid to drydown. The opening is different. Just got it it this morning. I put them side by side on the back side of my hands. They both have that sweet tonka note and are virtually identical to my nose after the opening settles down. Not quite as heavy or strong as the original but very, very close.
Thank you for the honest review. You are the first one to mention that Zanzibar is not a freshie and I wholeheartedly agree. Unfortunately, I bought into the hype from other fragrance influencers and paid a lot for it when it first came out. To this day, all I smell is an overbearing sweet vanilla and lots of salt. As for the Jasoor fragrance, I've ordered it and it should be here tomorrow, so I can't really comment on it, but the Zanzibar, I absolutely abhor.

I was so disappointed with Jasoor, because I was hoping it'd smell like Coral Fantasy (especially the opening, which to me smells like a loukoumi), but it's an ok fragrance. I'm waiting on my sample of Zanzibar.
I've received zanzibar this week and I agree with the fact that the coconut water smells more like coconut milk, and with the strong pepper it almost smells like spoiled milk in the opening. The dry down is ok but it's a rare lattafa L for me, I don't see myself wearing it often.
I think Lattafa simply overdid the opening, maybe chasing for better projection or something. The dry down is better, but I almost can’t stand that opening:)
I think Asad Zanzibar is an outstanding warm weather scent (the coconut tells us so) and it's very unisex. And it's a unique scent. Performance is very good. I picked it up for $21 and for that price, it's a steal.

@@klikfisz Imo. It is far and away a superior blend then Zanzibar and to me , one of best cheapies out there . We all have different tastes and noses so really no right or wrong opinions .
I got Zanzibar for €25 and waited for the hype to come down, but that salt in the beginning makes me feel very down. I've now left it alone for 2 months to see if it gets better, but that salt in this perfume is too much. ! Jasoor is on his way, arrives tomorrow, I think the new 9PM hype is coming soon 4 Jasoor, so I now have it for only €19, I'm curious!

If you are used to the coral fantasy DNA, this Jasoor is just too good to be true. Really addictive scent and unique.
It’s a good frag for sure, just a bit synthetic in the first few minutes but other than that versatile and likeable :)

I love the original Asad and enjoy it very much, more than Sauvage Elixir. And because its cheap, I spray this liberally.
The original Asad is a real gem, the Zanzibar one turned out to be a disappointment for me
Zanzibar smells like coconut flavored oatmeal to me and I am glad I did not buy into the hype and waste my money . 😮
I managed to sample at a store - it was weak and foul.
Crazy how much these RUclipsrs were singing from the same hymn sheet about Zanzibar. I sprayed it in store and it sucked ass.

Could you try tribal intense grandeur and compare it to glacier bold?
I'm not sure which le beau le parfum clone is better.

I have Grandeur Tribal intense and it's great! Super similar, and lasts between 8-10 hours on clothes.

I can't help it but for some reason. I really enjoy Zanzibar.
Zanzivar is one of the worst Lattafa fragrances.Because they don't make terrible fragrances

Since you got introduced to Jasoor maybe look into Lattafa Pride Winners Trophy which is inspired by Born in Roma intense
Ok so the thing is Lattafa Trophy is actually launched before the BIR Intense.. you can take it from here and have ur thoughts bout it..
The Zanzibar is a bit niche to me...its definitely not for everybody. I like it myself.
Opening is like coconut greek yogurt left outside the fridge 🤢, this note stays for 20-30 minutes then becomes generic vanilla perfume
Yep, Lattafa didn’t do a very good job with that opening
Zanzibar has been the biggest disappoinment for me so far by Lattafa.
