Insects are crazy for sugar, I was talking to a guy in hotel, whilst contracting as a Draughtsman, his job was putting molasses on an open pit, so recently tried in the garden but didnt work, though if you put it on gate it keeps burgulars away
White flowers weed and clover is fine . I have 4 foot spiky purple thistle and yellow flowers that all go Fluffy and Neighbors hate us. The previous home owners just used lava rock bags to cover the old weeds and cover deep layers of mixed assorted rocks no plants cut all the bushes so have large bush stumps buried.
Clover is great for fixing nitrogen and attracting pollinators. We had lava rock in the front yard and I don’t like that stuff for landscaping. Wood chips are much better.
You're welcome! It's amazing to see how these plants have spread here from Europe and elsewhere over the last few hundred years. Those seeds really do go EVERYwhere.
@@SomeRoomtoGrow 🕵😎..Thanks for pointing That out!💞...bc Names and Leaves are 'Similar'..i m Trying to 'keep It straight..lol..🕵😎..off to 'run This down'..Even! what 'i' Thought was Plantain..looked Different in Canada..😊.😎..like i Been Sayin'..'Es Possible' to Learn Sumpin' New..Every Day!!..🤗🙏
Thank you for the very useful information🙏 1 feedback that I may have is maybe use less “hhmm” & “aaaa” to better engage the audience better & also to cut down on video time. I know it’s easier said than done. I hope you can do it🙏
You’re welcome! And thank you for the feedback. This was one of my oldest videos and I’m not happy with how long and boring it is. I write scripts for most of my newer videos to keep them concise and informative.
(눈_눈 ) I never seen a gardener sitting in one spot on his butt talking for 20 min straight talking about weeds. Maybe get off your duff and look like you’re doing something instead of getting bitten by bugs.
This was my third video. I agree that it’s extremely boring to watch and listen to, and you’re welcome to check out the 50+ videos I’ve made since then. You might happen to see me doing things.
Here's an updated, improved and much shorter video on weeds: ruclips.net/video/3qAIpIjKzmM/видео.html

Thank you for a very informative video! I garden in Norway and recognize a lot of the weeds.

A male mosquito sucking nectar from the plant. Female mosquitoes are the ones that go after humans. 0:17
Right on! No wonder he left me alone while I tried about 38 times to get this shot right. Thanks for sharing!
