I would've built the glass cages and the wool roof first and left holes in the roof over each cage. Build stairs up to the roof and coax the mobs up onto the roof and into holes, then just plug the holes with wool when they fall in.

Mobs dont drop in 1x1 holes unless punched in. Better to have 2x2 with trap doors ontop. That way they walk on trap door and you can open it
Super late reply but my idea is kinda like a squirrel/raccoon trap. Have the cage with a door and on the outside of the door a pressure plate so when you walk in with the monster following you the door opens and closes with the monster trapped inside. Then all you have to do is make sure to block up the other entrance as you walk out
In achievement city, you don't capture wolf, wolf captures you.

there's one part when Ryan lost his spider and it was on his part or on his land on the obsidian block and no one can't hit the spider yet jack hit the spider and said it was his and didn't do it.

I was laughing at everyone trying to get spiders in one block wide cases. When spiders are 2 blocks wide lol
I'm having one of those "Let's Play" days!!
If I had to make one modification to this event, I'd demarcate a buffer zone that encompasses the obsidian plots, the intervening pathways, and the surrounding area, extending outwards to the approximate edges of the natural barriers nearby (the forest, the hillside, the lake, etc.). Claiming mobs within this zone would be forbidden (it'd be well-lit to minimize idle spawns), as would stealing/harming mobs already claimed by others. Any unclaimed mobs found here, though, could be safely led beyond its borders, claimed, and then brought back into its sphere of protection. Likewise, if somebody gets killed while trying to cage a mob, that mob could then be shepherded through the claiming process by somebody else. Worth noting, by the way, that anything goes outside of this region.
I could be totally misguided, but in my mind, this arrangement would introduce measures of both strategy and consistency to the game---participants would be motivated to use the environment as a means of defense against poachers, and then those whose quarry survives would be guaranteed a reprieve to be able to focus solely on the trapping element.
Then again, doing all that might've eliminated most of the uproariously funny drama.

I have watched these guys for 4 weeks straight! Ive watched Rage Quit. Every single minecraft. And the Olympics. As well as that survival one with Ryan, Geoff, Micheal, and Gavin. I forgot what its called though.
Someone should make like a 10 hour of random geoff laughing noises or gavin noises aswell.

Geoff should create a Let's Play where he gives everyone a certain amount of time to make their house the best of all in achievement City, and at the end, Geoff (and maybe Caleb since he lives in a square of water) should judge on which house is the best. Just a suggestion, but I think it could be really cooll seeing how the houses turn out afterwards.
At like 24:30 when Jack was bitching about Ryan taking his spider, he actually took the spider from Ryan. It was on the obsidian.

Rewatching this at about 26:00 u can see them already teraforming the land under the altar of pimps into what it looks like in ep 100.....took me 20 times watching this to finally catch it

See Gavin's cages are most effective but the spider cage needs to be 2x2 for it to fit, also they could have lead the mobs to the roof and had them fall into the pens
I'm curious, did you watch the video six times to keep track of each individual person or did you somehow listen to each of them all at the same time?
