Theres so many different reasons, illness, drugs, alcohol, depression/mental illness..every life is precious and worth the time and effort, to be a bright light for change no matter the amount of time put into it! Love this reaction. Peace and love to all
He was not addicted to anything. He had a true blue intestinal disease that almost killed him twice. G-D was continuously with him and kept him with a “mustard seed of faith” hope and love ❤️ for his Heavenly Father. This man was one of the bravest musicians that I have ever seen complete his diseased journey to share his gift from G-D with the world!

Luke was actually sick. He was diagnosed with an immune deficiency. As a 6’4 guy he got so sick and weak we couldn’t hold his newborn son. He could have died but he made it through and is in remission!

Luke wasn't addicted, he had a real illness like an immune system illness. He was very sick for many years, until his illness went into remission. It was a tough time trying to tour, make records, take care of his young growing family and having a serious illness that he didn't know which way was going to go.
From 2013 to 2015 Luke Smallbone battled a life-threatening case of ulcerative colitis. He went into remission in 2015.

No, he battled severe ulcerative colitis for 5 years. Got down to 125 lbs.
My husband is in heart failure. We are only in our 30s. He was put on the transplant list, but we dont know if there is time. This song kills me.
