Spring Valley: Multi-Vehicle Arson 05152024

Firefighters arrived at a report of a car fire in an apartment complex's parking lot, finding several vehicles on fire. The fires were put out quickly.
The fires were spread out in the parking lot.
3 vehicles are destroyed, and two are damaged by the heat of the fires.
There was a heavy smell of gasoline in the air. Two of the destroyed vehicles belonged to the apartment managers, and one truck belonged to a resident.
They told the firefighters and deputies that they believed a former tenant who had been recenly evicted and given a restraining order to not be on the property was the suspect.
These fires are suspicious, and the Sheriff’s Bomb and Arson Squad is investigating. No injuries were reported.
