- This week we head to Yeppoon and surrounds. We explored the Capricorn Caves, which was such a COOL experience for all of us! Sian needed to catch up on some editing so Chris caught up with his mate Tristan from @pricefamilyadventures for some fishing and 4x4'ing. We try the local seafood and cook up a storm in the caravan!

Hi Guys, I absolutely love your Google maps images showing the route you are on. So many people on RUclips are traveling all over but never show where they are. More of the google maps location shots please.
Thanks so much for your feedback! We’ve been wanting to do this for a while but weren’t sure the best way to render it high quality in the video from google, learning every day here! We will keep this as a regular in every episode showing where we are in our trip and possibly do smaller version for big day trips etc... I agree more people need to show where they are! We didn’t have a very long line in the first few weeks but I can justify it being there now that we are a few stops in 😂🙌🏻
And your dinner, tour of the park/sites etc. SO SO helpful for us, exactly what I'm looking for!

Go to a marine chandlery store like whitworths, RTM, bias boating, etc they have "clamps" for saucepans designed for cooking in yachts while under sail.

You have to look hard to fine and bad beach on the Capricorn coast. Fantastic islands so close. Fishing and weather to suit adventure.

There is always one (or in this case 3 🤪), the odds can never be weighted one way solely! We don’t mind as we love the memories we’ve made and what we create 😁 definitely check out the caves and maybe try a little more adventurous tour than what we did seeing your kid free 😉 maybe we can go next time with you when we lap Lucinda 😁

I’m planning on a solo bicycle trip circumnavigating Australia over 8-16 months as part of discharging from defence ! Hey guys big fans of show just started watching the Yeppoon episode and you asked for suggestions on how to stop pots coming of the front of the oven and being a potential spill risk to children. My Idea is that see if a tradesman/can weld or mount something (a piece of steel ) to the front top edge of the stove
So pots have no where to go

What editing software do you use, and is it good for beginners? Also how do you find music youtube font bend you over for using ? Keep up the awesome vids
I started editing with iMovie and moved up to Adobe Premiere Pro after using iMovie for sometime. Premiere Pro will be quite overwhelming if you haven’t done editing before! As for music, we pay for a monthly subscription to royalty free music that your allowed to use on RUclips, nothing is ever free anymore lol

Buy a Colman cup from Bunnings!! There big, fit in cup holders and will never leak a drop, you can shake up a coke in them! Just push a button and it opens and auto closes, and actually stays hot or cold

Hey Krystal, thanks for the feedback! We had friends who had them and so we tried them out, they’re the Yeti brand. They are a bit pricey $ but otherwise can’t fault them, I can have my morning coffee all morning or a cold drink all day and the ice cubes actually last! We’ve replaced our mugs in the van for two of these and I have one for my drink 🍸🙈

Hey Shane, we can’t WAIT to get off grid more and check out some amazing free camps! We will be showing you all about them too! Covid really threw a spanner in the works as we were planning our first few months, plus we had to get the van up to spec for off grid... not long until you’ll see more 😍 we had our first trial run at a stunning free camp a couple of weeks ago (and it’ll be on here shortly) ☺️🙌🏻

how many days of exploring do you aim to get in each video? given you take 6-8 hrs to edit each ep? curious how many days on/off your ep routine is
Hey Alex, good question!! It really depends on the episode as to how much we record/don’t record... we always have downtime at the van/caravan park but most of our exploring/adventures we record all the time. I would say we record for 3-4 days a week for 1-2 episodes? It just depends really as some content is quicker and easier to edit and some takes so much time! I wish it was a one answer question but it’s so different all the time 😂Yeppoon we were busy most the week and most of it was in this episode but Five Rocks (a whole massive day) will be one episode next week 😍 Thanks for getting in touch and also watching our journey 🙏🏻❤️

Good camera work , whats you’re setup ? Re stove the front edge is the danger maybe a 2 inch pice of Metal along the front edge that folds up and flat when not in use will stop a catastrophic slide forward , easily fabricated.

Yes we used to watch them a fair bit back when we were in a house but not so much as now as we are making our own memories! ❤️ Pretty crazy they’ve been in a van for 5 years huh!

Hey guy's can't believe u's havent got bullbar an winch on 4wd if travelling around around australia
It all comes down to legalities and weights, we wanted one but 100kg of bar and winch was too much to stay legal! We will however have a new tow vehicle with the bells and whistles and legal, stay tuned! 😍
@@BigOzExplorers hey guy's maybe a ram 1500 or 2500 with 5.7Li supercharger hemi or 6.7LTdi cummins 10spd auto 1500, 4.5T to 2500, 5.5t tow plattforms, my old ranger px1 winch an bar in total 65kgs an in steel
32 minutes only took 10 minutes to watch and then it was up to the bit that we were suppose to check out and awe its finished.
Personally I reckon any saucepan without a handle will do the same, so use 2 hands as it would only take 2 seconds to put the
handle from 1 saucepan to another, now if you want to hold a camera at the same time, yeah good luck with that, Cheers.

@@BigOzExplorers The items you have in the saucepan are usually heavier than the saucepan itself so it will move unless you
bolt it down so really there is no way around it, unless you can get some strong magnets that can handle the heat( i've never seen, heard or used
magnets under heat), so suction cup or something around your neck it is then, Cheers till next time.
