  • This lectures looks at how to analyse factorial designs using the general linear model. We begin by discussing moderation and how it is expressed as an interaction between predictor variables. We then look at an example of a two-way factorial design and look at the resulting linear model, and how to interpret the main effects and interaction term including the use of simple effects analysis. We look at how to evaluate the assumptions of the model and fit robust variants. We finish with a second example.
