If you are too good at selector try sharing one use case where we have to upload file to SharePoint that in old version ,and windows is vm and studio version is 2020.4.1

I can't say i am an expert but these software you have mentioned are very specific and i don't have those , but i believe modern design experience can be helpful

If possible can you make some videos for click on elements using javascript or .net coded automation please it would be helpful when selector is unreliable

I don't like anchors in modern experience. If I need to use anchors I use classic design, it's more convenient to have anchor in the same selector.

Yes a separate activity always help but the challenge is it does not work with object repository
