LL answered perfectly and all these riders need to chill everyone’s experiences aren’t the same. Speak your truth and authenticity.
LL is the real goat dont care what anybody says. I grew up listening to him and his music is always unique and different...
The GOAT
The goat 🔥
The greatest my big bro the legendary LL cool j SNS is lava the new album gone be crazy 🎙️🔥🔥🔥🔥
LL never had drugs and violence or degrade women in his music. he the wrong one to ask, his legacy started b4 all these popular rappers we consume the last 20 years
"Roll up a fat one and pass it around" Booming system. "You thought it was tobacco, the shit was cess" My rhyme ain't done.
Yep LL was that guy before the internet. Definitely should be in that top 5 conversation but they hate because he doesn't just rap about drugs and killing
LL has always had modest weed references since his first album. He never glorified it. He hung with big drug dealers that told him stick with the music. He was able to “Big Wille” with legit money. History is real.
I love the direction in which you took this interview. Not the same ole redundant questions. LL never disappoints, imo.
Thank you!
I appreciate you respecting dee 1 position LL. I think the host did a terrible job helping you understand his position. I think Dee-1 agrees with you LL. I believe his overall point is the contradictions that reside, not the music itself. His point is, you can't say you want change, and glorify evil. You can't say you want prison reform, and then glorify criminality
Long time Dee-1 supporter here. Dee-1 is simply asking those with a platform to change the drug and violence glorification narrative to one that builds and empowers. It's not rocket science🤦🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️
Todd needs to rethink what he said, damn L you're falling off
what you mean
Bro shut up
He doesn’t have to rethink anything. You don’t have to agree with everything. 💯
??
I think you need to re-listen to what LL said. Damn B. I think you’re falling off…….See how that work. (Don’t be self righteous. LL said if you want a song about change , you do it. That’s the perfect message. Everyone always waiting for someone else to do it. Be the change you want to see.)
LL has no clue… Dee-1 is saying once you made it- change your message.. How many times can you degrade your black woman, talk about the ghetto and guns… how many times? change the Message be more positive… Do not put BOB in this..
It’s you that are clueless. What have you done?
How often do you hear LL do those things you mention ? I can tell you don't listen to his albums. His positive albums are always considered bad albums by critics and rap fans. So damn if you do damn if you don't. Thing is LL doesn't try to blend in he always stands out
@@VtooSmooth facts!💯
He does understand, what you mean? He said it here 14:36 - 14:47. Maybe you don't listen well.
