👑👑👑 I'm just in the midst of releasing my dream miniature brush as well as some wonderfully sculpted miniature busts mid June 2020. It's something I'm really proud of and been working on for the better part of the last year. You can already pre register your interest on my Kickstarter page: bit.ly/3dKjmnz 👑👑👑
Thats wonderful! I was wondering though watching this video.. whats the Extra Heavy Gel and where can I find it? Edit: Did they discontinue it or rebrand it as the Water Texture?
I like what you have done here. Just a tip from a modeler, you may want to add some gloss varnish or water effects to the wall and sand as they would be wet. You can also add some green effects for mold or plant growth. You could also clip a starfish or make one to go on the base to for additional effect. Nice one!
I've subscribed for ages but this vid just randomly popped up. So chuffed as I'm doing my deepkin soon as it's been sitting in the boxes too long and this is the best sea base video I've seen.
As I am just getting back in to the hobby (after a 20 year hiatus) and looking at starting an Idoneth Deepkin army, this is amazing and truest inspiring
Just got the Idoneth Deepkin start collecting set for Christmas, I came across this video while looking up guides. I look forward to giving this a try myself.
Holy crap those bases are amazing. I'm new to this hobby and I've literally done zero bases but I already want to do this. Thanks to you and Emil for this tutorial!!
This was very helpful working on a diorama as a Christmas gift for the wife using a barrier reef seen And a where shark as the defender again thank you so much your videos having very informative
This was a great video, thank you! I haven't worked with Water effects yet but maybe one day. Still trying to find the time to get back into the hobby.
Definitely going to be using some of these techniques for my Idoneth Deepkin warband for Warcry! Thanks for sharing! My only suggestion: Turn down the volume on your background music bed, it comes across a little loud and can drown out the voices sometimes.
I'm using this same technique, somewhat different materials, to do the bases for my Seraphon army. General theme I'm going with is based on the Fly Geysers of Nevada.
hello very nice video, can you tell me how much water you put into your wet palette exactly ? I never know if the sponge should be soaked and not more or if water should fill all around and even go on the parchment

I am rarely impressed these days with anything mini related. Today I was very impressed.
I've subscribed for ages but this vid just randomly popped up. So chuffed as I'm doing my deepkin soon as it's been sitting in the boxes too long and this is the best sea base video I've seen.
