I have an one of the 300 original Expedition SVTs. Had Ford Authority confirm the VIN and the Ford Racing frame it sits on with the 98/99 Lincoln Navigator 5.4 Triton. One day I will completely restore it and put a 5.2 in it. I really enjoy seeing other people create theirs. 👏
They definitely should have made the thunder. Everyone knows Chevy hit the mark doing this type thing. They had the cyclone and typhoon then the extreme s10 and extreme s10 blazer it’s always gonna be intriguing to have the truck and suv counterpart !!!
People have slammed the Expedition for having solid rear axles. If you're going to do family hauling and especially pull with it, there's no other axle I'd want. Who's going to rock climb in some big SUV anyway hahahaha? Helped a friend tune and fluid swap his Eddie Bauer that I think was a 99, and I'd swear that thing was 10". Limited slip, too.
i had a 99 i bought the cam and wheels and put ac the mechanic who sold it to me had legal problems and let it go cheap that truck was so hard to control and ones the throttle got stuck open and i had to swerve several cars and businesses 😅 i stopped driving it for a while then my brother got a hold of it and messed it up
It's definitely a cool ride. Friend of mine just got his Uncle's Bricknose extra cab long bed 7.3 non turbo 113k miles garage kept since new super clean truck
I wonder what happened to the explorer, I think this build is cool, wasn’t aware they the expedition and lightnings share the same front bumper. Great video

Absolutely it was just late in the game and ford decided it wasn’t worth it for this gen

needs a supercharged 5.4 360hp 440 ft lbs torque 0-60 in 5.6 seconds, run a13.87 with 3 rows of seating with 8 people in the 1/4 mile
