    1980 Chevrolet Camaro Restomod
    VIN: 1P87LAN563634
Check out this awesome 1980 Chevrolet Camaro! This Camaro has undergone a high-dollar, nut and bolt restoration, turned into a pro touring style build. The previous owner spent 3 years restoring this car and he did a magnificent job. There are less than 500 miles on the build since completion. Under the hood sits a Chevrolet ZZ4 350ci V8 Crate Engine, connected to a TH350 automatic transmission, and 10 Bolt Posi Rear End. The suspension has been upgraded with Global West tubular control arms and coilovers. The brakes have been upgraded to 4-Wheel Wilwood Disc Brakes with Drilled & Slotted Rotors. A modern air conditioning system has been added as well. Paint is silver metallic with satin black. Exterior mods include a Z28 raised hood, a rear spoiler cut down and fitted to the trunk, body mods on the front fenders, and blacked out tail lights. All new interior including custom dash and gauges, new seats, carpet and headliner. This car was built to show and go. We have never seen a 1980 Camaro this cool!

Somebody lost a boatload of money building this car. It is amazing. What did it sell for? That thing, with frame off resto, professional strip, prep and paint and then all the adds and extras....seriously....somebody has at least $75,000 into it.

In 1979 the slush boxes came with 3:42 gears and 4 speeds came with 3:73 gears.. nice front suspension but I did not even see a sway bar on the rear..

You call it a Camaro but it seems to have all of the Z-28 do dads on it .. glad my Camaro has head rests that reduces whip lash .. You need a shoulder harness or a real 6 way seat restraint system .. but yes it does look nice..

How much did this car sell for? I see it has a serpentine belt system... from a 88 ish truck? That would also fit the AC style. Nicely swapped and good looking car

3:73 gears and a 350 turbo slush box transmission need a 4 speed auto with over drive or a 6 speed manual .. with 3:73 gears it will really suck gas at 70 MPH ..

Vanguard Motors. I had one of these. Very nice looking but a real piece of junk. The motor mounts. engine cradle kept ripping around the mounts. Every time I had it fixed, it ripped right next to the welds. I wasn't the only one having that problem. Suggest xraying the cradles. Not your fault but Chevy's.
