Do you know that Dana outright asked the media in the room, "What should I do, tell Stipe to f**k off?" Dana was literally asking the guys in the room what he should do, and none of them responded! It was a rare and special moment when Dana was asking for advice, but nobody uttered a peep. He was seconds away from cancelling the Stipe fight, but nobody offered a lick of support or advice.

My biggest gripe as well was the “hey we have to respect Stipe” line. It’s so sad cause they genuinely treated Stipe like trash cause he wasn’t “marketable” despite being the GOAT of HW div AND probably the nicest dude in the sport. Mans an active firefighter…full time. Cmon.
AND Luke Thomas and Brian Campbell are both saying that the reason they are promoting Stipe vs. Jon is because it will do good business, and the UFC is concerned with ticket sales. They believe that this situation is "normal" and Dana is just trying to be a good promoter. But Dana used to hate Stipe Miocic and Jon Jones---he hated them both. He was NEVER concerned with promoting them, he constantly insulted Jon and avoided giving Stipe a title fight in lieu of Brock Lesnar getting the shot instead.

Imagine if Stipe wins lol it could happen not likely. But anything can happen it's not like Jones has proven himself. Stipe can wrestle, heavyweight is a different beast.
