The game that required like 500000 updates is actually pretty nice when it's all loaded. It's like a farming sim with moomin characters. There's a lot of cute decorations and stuff, but it's definitely more on the 'idle' side of gaming.
There once was this legendary finnish moomin flash game called "Muumipapan pojan kosto" (Revenge of the son of Moominpappa) or "Taistelevat Muumit" (Fighting Moomins). Not sure whether it can be played anymore but it's worth looking into at least

Started playing the one by Rovio today, seems like they've updated the beginning of the game. It now starts in the winter instead of spring. Edit: I’ve… beaten the game for now. There’s only 2 chapters, and chapter 3 is coming soon apparently. The game’s only in version 1.10, and the story halts around level 45 or so.
