@@PetersenMuseum Love this quick behind the scenes tour. Just one small point, and if I didn’t, I would feel like I’m letting my Porsche soul down. MR. Meyer’s stated that the 911 Carrera RS was fitted with a 3.0L, when I think he meant to say 2.7L engine. The following model was the RSR and that had the 3.0L engine installed. Thank you again for sharing this fabulous array of rolling history. FYI.... I live on Biscayne Bay here in Miami Beach and I have seen similar pictures to the one on your wall, at the Miami History Museum.
I'm 58 yrs old and have been hearing about you and your cars for what seems like most of my life, thank you so much for letting us see them and preserving the history of hot rodding for the younger generations.
Thank you Mr. Meyer and all the staff at Petersen for showing us your collections and giving us interesting content to watch. I hope we see each other soon at the museum in person.
Passed up a 246 in 83. Was 8k and needed 4 k of work. Luigi back then kicked my ass. Labour ended up at 10k. Luigi said for you it would of been 3. Ohh well back then I was into 2 wheels , Ducati's.. 74 750ss , and a full race honda 750 ss on a haris frame and yosh equipped. 6 speed no electric start. Moral is enjoy when ya can. And their will be regrets
Thanks Bruce for being the enthusiast that you are,and for sharing your collection and knowledge with us. It’s enthusiasts like yourself that are keepers of the history of these cars and pass the history to those who may never see cars like those or are too far away ( I’m in Canada). As well to a younger generation that may just be learning about these cars. We all started somewhere. Thanks Again Be well.
I just admire the collection of Bruce Meyer. I'm old enough and fortunate enough to have seen Bill Harrah's Collection when he hit 2000 cars and acquired the second Bugatti Royal. That will never be repeated. I visited Jay's collection when it wasn't much more than his two Miuras and a bunch of Vincents. Jay has greatly expanded the number, but it is Bruce's collection that I covet. All three are wonderful, genuine enthusiasts... but now that the Harrah Collection has been distributed to the wind... it's Bruce's collection that stirs my heart.
I purchased my first “Hot Rod” magazine in 1957, in Australia. It was an annual publication in black & white in A5 size. Hot Roding as such had not taken off in OZ at that time and my 1937 Ford sedan with no side covers on the 38:Mercury V8 with triple Strongberg 97 carbies, sure drew some attention.
Between Bruce, Jay Leno and Chip Foose I would love to sit at the coffee shop with these guys and just talk cars and automotive history all day. Thanks for the tour.
Now there is some walking knowledge of cars,. Thanks Mr. Meyers and Peterson. Would never have seen this collection if it wasn’t for you guys and willing to share it. No secret anymore! Love it!
These tour and special videos are one of the few good things that came out of this stupid virus pandemic. Thanks for taking the time to share. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
Bruce Thank you for taking the time to let us view your amazing collection of significant vehicles. I have been fortunate enough to see many of them in person at the Peterson and other venues. Your building has character and is a great backdrop for the collection. Also, thank you for all you do for the hobby.
Bruce, Thanks for your "personal tour". Your walk thru definitely adds depth and dimension to an already fantastic collection. It's really appreciated. Superb!
We were at Lime Rock Park a few years ago and spoke with Bruce for at least 20 minutes. He is one of the most down to earth people you could ever meet and a huge asset to the automotive industry.
I feel really fortunate to have been on your tour. I recognize each of those special cars, and understand how significant they are. Job well done!! And ....... Thanks!!!
Thank you Bruce.(Ill save the obvious banter, we all follow Bruce and his cars) While the arena in which you play is something of a daydream for the rest of us; it is VERY clear that you are the right man to help foster these cars/stories into the future. Because of your notoriety and the provenance of the garage, the gut says this may be an intimidating environment for most folks....but BECAUSE of your passion, the heart says we could drink coffee, tour and chat like peers. The love of the machine is truly a beautiful thing. (Big thanks to Petersen Automotive Museum for EVERYTHING you folks do. These visits are as close as most of us will get to these people and their stories. Cheers all.)

He clearly has taste and means but his heart is in the hot rods and the number 1 Cobra. Can't argue with that. Thanks Mr Meyer well done.
