Yea I’m sure it will but it could also be removed if you have any issues. But I wouldn’t recommend this if you’re not gonna run a exhaust also. This tuner alone didn’t nothing more than maybe smoothed the bike out a little bit after adding the exhaust and intake and then running the hotter tune it really opened it up. Check out our full review we did on the 390🤙
@@TheKernables I’m 6’2” it’s nice to see someone talk fit on it, I haven’t sat one one yet but I’m going to make the drive after seeing you ride in the snow and what not
The only difference I see is that the PowerTRONIC ecu is fully adjustable using their software, nothing I’m going to mess with unless there exhaust and air filter tune doesn’t run right for us but it also has 2 position mapping for what that’s worth🤙 After doing a little searching around I’ve also found out that apparently Coober has a deal with KTM and they will still warranty the bike with a Coober installed but with the PowerTRONIC I’d have to remove it and put it all back to stock if anything crazy went wrong😅
Oh sweet, let us know how it goes 👍 it’s definitely something I’ll look at getting down the track but I’ve already spent too much money on my bike for now 😬
Hopefully we’ll be able to get out and get a good test on this one especially after the next package gets here😎 just taking a few passes in front of the house after putting the timer on I did notice that this bike is way smoother and more refined feeling now🤙
I have a KTM Adventure 390 2022 My bike's top speed in 5th gear is 151. But it slows down when I switch to 6th gear. Is it due to the ECU on the bike? 6th gear top speed is 153 only.
Yea there’s a bit of a difference. This one is fully adjustable, you can go into there software and adjust everything. Obviously that’s not recommended but if you take it to a dyno they won’t have to unlock the ecu which also makes it to where if you have any warranty issues you can remove the unit and pop all the stock parts back on and there will be no trace of it. I’m going to show the software more here in a up coming video when we put the new exhaust on. One big bonus to the Coober tho is that as long as you run their kit (decat pipe, open air box and tuner) KTM has apparently made a deal with them to still cover the bike under warranty where we’ll have to remove ours and put it all back to stock.
@@TheKernables thanks for the info. I look forward to the next vid. I’m thinking of upgrading to one of those, but I don’t think I’m going to upgrade to the decat exhaust. I’m wondering how much a difference there is between just having the unit installed and having the decat also for lower end torque and smoothness.
Just made a video yesterday and it should drop tomorrow morning on my rough first impression of just the ECU on a stock bike. To make a long story short, I wouldn’t do it without doing the exhaust unless you’re willing to go get a custom tune done on a dyno.
Just curious, does this void the factory warranty in any way? Do you think it improves low end torque? Thanks!

Really similar to the Coober aye I wonder if there's much diff between em 👍

What did you replace the stock resonator with?
With the included pipe @ 8:49 in this video ruclips.net/video/ptt7i9c2FBk/видео.html

I sold my 690 Enduro R last year looking to downsize to this bike. I’m 6ft / 250#, do you find this bike to be capable for someone of my size?
Oh sweet, let us know how it goes 👍 it’s definitely something I’ll look at getting down the track but I’ve already spent too much money on my bike for now 😬
Will do! So far it’s really smoothed this bike out from the small amount of riding that I got to do on it🤙
Great job, it’s something I’ve been looking at since riding Nat’s bike with the Coober ecu, definitely makes a difference 😀🤘🏻

I don’t know anything about that, sorry. - J
I saw Nats vid on the coober and am wondering if there is a big difference between this one and that one. There is defiantly a price difference.

Can this ECU activate quickshifter+? my dealer said I have to pay money to activate quickshifter+.
No we don’t have the quick shifter. It’s not a useful modification/upgrade in my opinion unless you’re a racer and Megan isn’t a racer😅
Great video but pay attention to the exhaust valves
