7:07 Because Brahma is a mortal, a created being by Vishnu, and Brahman is not a totality of the universe; it is the ultimate reality manifesting the universe.
The detailed imagery and description of hindu Gods were always there in our scriptures, like how Maa Laxmi is stitting on a red lotus and have coins flowing from pot to denote that she's goddess of aim (most people has money as their aim so wealth is represented). But even though description was there, Gods were mostly represented in Idol or sculpture or coins, never painted. It was during 18th century that Raja Ravi Verma a renowned artist who started creating realistic painting of our Gods. Our today's representation of Hindu God was majorly done by Raja Ravi.
Actually a sage named Bhrigu was set on a mission to find who was the best god among the trinity. Brahma was in meditation so Bhrigu got angry cause he didnt welocome him and cursed that he wont be worshipped by humans. Shiva was playing in a lake with Parvati and his sons that he didnt notice sage Bhrigu on which Bhrigu cursed that he would be worshipped in the form of a lingam. Finally reaching vishnu who was laying on the serpent, Bhrigu angrily kicked Vishnu on the chest. Vishnu calmly welocmed the sage by touching his feet and casualy destroyed Bhrigu's third eye of anger which was located under his feet thus relieving Bhrigu of his anger and hence Bhrigu declared Vishnu to be the best among the trimurti. Although Lakshmi got angry that Vishnu got insulted and he didnt respond to the sage similarly, she left Vishnu and went to earth. Watch what happens next on youtube video, I am sure u will find it. There is a whole story of Tirupati Venkateshwara Swamy Avatar of Vishnu based on this incident.
I read Brahma was having a court with gods and the apsaras were dancing and he didn't notice bhrigu so he cursed not to be worshiped . While Shiva was meditating and Bhrigu waited and waited still shiva was meditating just like stone . So he cursed shiva to be worshiped as the form of stone aka Linga.
@@wayofacceptanceischange4390 bruh another uneducated just to argue for no reason. When did I say vishnu is superior? I just said wht was written in the ancient texts.😑
9:25 that is actually the reason for idol worship. To have something to focus on. That looks attractive. And be more like it/them. Take their good habits and their teachings and practice/follow them in our life.
There are stories why Brahma is given less importance. Like he was cursed for being untruthful and being too proud etc. But more importantly it is because Brahma is the creator. Once the creation is done, his job is mainly done. He doesn't actively take part in the daily lives of living beings.
Brahma is known as creator of the 'physical world' and in hindu tradition, physical world is given less important than spiritual world. Brahma is assocaiated with physical aspect while Shiva and Vishnu are associated with spiritual aspect . That's why he is given less importance and also not widely worshipped.
Actually you can relate to the three main gods and their consorts(wife) in a simple but very reasonable logic behind 1. Brahma - the creator of physical world that we live in and see now think about creation what do you need to create something - wisdom and knowledge Saraswati - goddess of knowledge and wisdom the logical pov is you need knowledge and wisdom in order to create something from scratch. 2. Vishnu - the preserver and protecter of the physical world that is created by Brahma now think about preservation and protection of something you created you need wealth and fortune together to sustain the creation Lakshmi - goddess of good fortune and wealth ( money is just an aspect of wealth there are 8 different aspects of wealth mentioned in the scriptures of Hinduism). 3. Shiva - the destroyer of the creation of Brahma when it's completed it's cycle of evolution( actually their is a point were the civilization becomes nomad again after reaching a certain point of evolution and they'll destroy their own way to grow even further and worst case scenario will be the total destruction of humanity and morality which makes us worse than animals) Parvati (shakti) - to destroy something which is much bigger and well maintained what you need obviously the power and strength. Here comes shakti(energy or power) With the blessings of Saraswati you're capable to create your life structured and well maintained. With the blessings of Laxmi you can sustain protect and preserve your family and have all the comforts you need to live peacefully. Eventually the truth is waiting for you the ultimate truth is nothing is permanent you'll have to be destroyed at the end of your lifecycle which is beyond the capability of yours you didn't choose to die but here's the role of Shiva came into he destroys your body which is borrowed from the earth and make your soul free from matter then according to your karma ( basically think like residuals) you left of behind determines your next form body and then you'll be created again (same goes on for the creation of Brahma even Brahma himself have to die with his own creation) this process of destruction will unlock the new path for the creation to take place again and try to be better then last creation. I'm not going deep in symbolical presentations bcz it's gonna be vast and more deeper with each form of god but believe me or not Hinduism doesn't even refuse other faiths and their rituals Hinduism says I'm right but your way is also right all you need to seek ask questions find answers and gain the knowledge to reach the ultimate reality or truth about the world about you about God and about your own soul. Jay shree ram🙏🙏🙏
Brahma is considered the first mortal being of the universe. This is why he is not worshiped, as he cannot liberate us from the cycle of birth and death. Watch this "Birth of Universe according to Hinduism | Dr. Vineet Aggarwal"
you see at the imagery of gods, people don't need to add visual stuff to gods appereance becoz there are ancient sanskrit "slokas" (instucting text form) that are called as dhyana slokas, which is specifically used for meditating particular god form, the form is very well explained in detail there. The people don't need to add their favourite things upon gods unwisely
Im not sure if there are any temples at all of Lord Brahma or even if there are it might be very very few. Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiv have more known stories because they are more actively involved since they are the preserver and destroyer and have to fight with the asurs. Brahma generally provides boons to the asurs who later fight with the other gods. Brahmastra is a powerful weapon received from Brahma or activated by praying to Brahma.
7:10 this kinda show how when a god takes an avatar and reside beside human , we feel more connected to them . Vishnu has taken a lot of avatars like Ram And Krishna. Shiva has his own shares of avatar , famous one is Hanuman . Brahma has none . Thats why people hardly feel any connection to him
Before explaining the different Gods and Goddesses, there is one thing more fundamental to all Dharmic religions - the concept of Dharma, Karma, Samsara and Moksha. The universal law existed before Gods. The universal law of karma applies equally to all beings - including Gods. The Gods are not exempt from the universal law of karma. Some of the God avatars come to earth and go through hardships to experience the karma they set in motion through their actions . This is a just universe. There is no discrimination. And you as a human can aspire to become God.
I will try my best to explain this to you in detail why Brahma is not worshipped and true status of Shiva and Vishnu. Before I jump into it I would like to introduce you to a more widely accepted concept amongst hindus without creating many conflicts between different believers as it is the most accepting of different form of gods. In the core of hindu believes you will find that we believe that god exists in a formless, shapeless way like an endless energy as well as in a way that can be looked at, felt and given a shape to. We address these as "nirgun, nirakar" and the latter as "Sagun, sakar". Gun means qualities, attributes and nirgun means absence of those qualties and attributes, "akar" means shape or form similarly "nirakar" means not having any particular shape or form. It is believed that god in its purest nirgun, nirakar form can not be seen, can not be felt, can not be described. It's literally mentioned in our religious scriptures too the vedas that they can't properly describe it either. So in order for us to be able to experience his presence that same shapeless, endless, eternal energy takes forms abiding by the rules of the nature, which also btw is said to be possible because of his own expansion of feminine energy. This is a concept of purush and prakriti. Prakriti here is that feminine energy, the mahamaya. Everything that can be experienced within the boundaries of our senses it is all because of her. So in a way the reason we are able to even feel the presence of god if we ever do will be because of her. Because she is responsible for the entire materialistic world. This is also represented in Shiva's symbol shivling. Where you see the masculine and feminine energy united in one. There are two primary large groups of believers you will find known as Vaishnavas and shaivas. The vaishnavites would believe everything to be originated from Vishnu and consider Mahalakshmi as that feminine energy, the Prakriti mentioned bedore. The shaivas believe that to be shiva and shakti as the purush and prakriti. Then there is a neutral ground on which one of the greatest guru ever guru adishankaracharya taught us to go on. He is also believed to be an avatar of Lord Shiva. His philosophy was of advait vedanta. Non dualism. He preached "brahman" as mentioned in this video to be the only eternal truth and everything else being merely an illusion. His concept focused on how everything we see, we hear, we smell, we feel. All of this information is depented on the senses that we have in our bodies but these senses die along with our bodies so what relevance do these informations have in the grand scheme of things that we get from these senses? Can these informations be considered eternal truth if they die along with the senses? Long story short this ideology cancelled the whole "supremacy" mindset that was dividing hindus in his era. He preached equal importance of brahma, vishnu, shiva, shakti and Ganesh and not to compare them ever, hinting that they're all nothing but manifestations of that same supreme "brahman" and shouldn't be put into heirarchy. Now coming back to the story of Brahma. It is believed that Brahma originally had 5 heads. We have this term called "leela" in our culture which suggests it is all a play of that supreme being trying to teach us something and not necessarily trying to establish supremacy of one form of god over the other. So once Brahma got arrogant over his powers and started arguing with Vishnu over him being the superior one and the one above all. The reason, the creator of everything even Vishnu. This created an argument between them and led to a fight which would have destroyed worlds. Shiva appeared in between them in the form of an endless beam of Light and told them that whoever manages to find the end of it will be declared supreme. Vishnu went ahead to seek the absolute bottom end of it and Brahma moved towards the top. Vishnu spoke the truth and respectfully bowed down saying that he could not find any end to it whereas Brahma lied about it and even tried to present a special kind of flower as a proof convincing it to lie about it. This angered shiva and he came out in a very fierce form of his known as Bhairava. He cut down the head of Brahma with which he lied, he cursed brahma that since you went this far in a desire to be above all you will not be worshipped till eternity, the flower presented by brahma as the evidence of his claim was exempted to ever be offered in prayers related to shiva and shiva got so happy with Vishnu for being the one that always speaks the truth shiva declared that from today there will be no difference in between you and me, we will be considered one and the same and equals and no one will try to show us superior over the other. Anyone that tries to do so will be sinned. All this was the "leela" of that supreme to show that nobody is exempted from the law not even the gods. Ego will always be destroyed. The interpretation is upto the people whether they want to take this in a symbolic manner or literal terms.
1. Brahma’s consort Saraswathi is the Goddess of Knowledge and art. Yes, Brahma is not worshipped, but Saraswathi is worshipped all over India (especially by artists, musicians, students , professors etc) If you are a great singer, they say you are blessed by Goddess Saraswathi and you need her to continue to shower her blessings. Saraswathi is Brahma’s energy - without her, he would be unable to create. 2. Goddess Lakshmi is Lord Vishnu’s consort. She is the Goddess of Wealth and prosperity. Vishnu is the god of maintenance and she is his energy - without her he cannot maintain the universe. 3. Similarly, Shivas energy (or as we call it “Shakti”) is Parvathi. 4. The Goddess is also worshipped without a male counterpart. This is called Shaktism and the people who worship Shakti sees her as Brahman or the ultimate reality. The Goddess is worshipped in many of her forms and manifestations - both in benevolent and fierce forms. There is a tantra branch to Shakti worship in both Hindu and Tibetan Buddhist traditions. She is worshipped in the form of yantra - each form/manifestation of the Goddess has a corresponding yantra - you can approach her and meditate on her for specific purposes in life. In short, Shiva is equated to consciousness, awareness etc. This is the static aspect of the universe. Shakti (or the divine feminine) is the dynamic aspect of the universe - without her energy, Shiva cannot even move an inch! She is both static and dynamic. Scriptures like Soundarya Lahari and Devi Mahatmyam explain her attributes. Who does Vishnu, Brahma and Shiva meditate on? The Goddess. The universe is her divine play. She is the kundalini energy within all beings - human, animals, plants everything. It’s difficult to understand the attributes of any of these Gods and Goddess without understanding some of the chants/prayers. Since you are not familiar with the temple rituals, chants etc it may be hard to comprehend.
The following is an excerpt from one of the most powerful devotional hymns dedicated to Goddess Durga (it is part of the 700 verses of Devi mahtmya) This is a sample Hindu prayer. - - Yaa Devi Sarva-Bhutessu Chetanety-Abhidhiiyate | Namas-Tasyai Namas-Tasyai Namas-Tasyai Namo Namah || To that Devi Who in All Beings Reflected as Consciousness, Salutations to Her, Salutations to Her, Salutations to Her, Salutations again and again. The chant goes on and on - To that Devi Who in All Beings is Abiding in the Form of Modesty - in the form of peace - in the form of loveliness and beauty - in the form of faith - in the form of good fortune - in the form of activity - in the form of memory - in the form of kindness - in the form of mother - in the form of contentment - in the form of Delusion … etc etc To that Devi Who Governs the Faculty of Senses of Beings in All the Worlds Salutations to Her) Who in the Form of Consciousness Pervades This Universe and Abides in It. The above is a sample so you get an idea! This is what most Hindus pray looking at the image of Goddess.
How does a Hindu worship God Shiva (Rudra)? One example is Rudrabhishekam which includes many parts - These various chants and rituals quite simply try to convey the Advaita philosophy in simple terms to the devotee. Example - Anganyas: Anganyas is the process in which one invokes the deity within themselves before they can pray to the deity outside them (the shiv lingam). Before the Shri Rudram starts, the person performing the prayer offers flowers to all the gods and then puts some on their own head. This act is done to recognize that there is the energy of Shiva in themselves. Only after the invocation of Shiva in oneself, one becomes eligible to perform the Rudra Puja. Namakam - These hymns recognize the presence of Shiva in everything - recognize that Rudra, the energy that is omnipresent, is in the best of the best and the worst of the worst. The devotee bows down to shiva who is in the form of goldsmith, blacksmith, kings, queen or even thieves and smugglers. The chant goes on to bow down to Shiva who is in the form of trees, different animals etc. In this modern world we use the word ‘dog’ as an abuse, but in this hymn we bow down to the dog who is also Shiva and we also bow down to the protector of dogs .. Chamakam: In this, we recognize that all of the things present in the existence are within us. So, that tattva or Shiva is present everywhere and everything that contains that energy is within me. And here we worship the presence of that Rudra within us. Again these Hindu prayers in an indirect way teaches us the essence of the Universe. All Gods and Goddesses are worshipped in a similar fashion. Most of the videos are all over the place and do not explain the one single message that is universally accepted by all Hindu traditions and sects. That’s why there is no fight between any of these different sects.
They said that Indo-European religions connections indicating that it came from there. In India, there is an out of India Theory. There is a story of War of Ten Kings which is more historical. In it many tribes atacked a tribe called Bharata. Bharata tribe defeated all of them and many of them was driven out of the Indian Subcontinent. And these tribes found the various other religions or philosophies around the world. And since all the tribes of the subcontinent had almost same beliefs there was similarities between various beliefs that came from these driven out tribes. After winning over all the tribes, the Bharata tribes performed something called the 'Ashwamedha Yagana', in which a 'White Horse' is set loose for a year and all the places that the Horse went will be considered under Bharata Tribe. If anyone has any objection they will have fight it out. Like this many parts of Northern India came under the Bharata Tribe. Thus the name of India then, became 'Bharatvarsha' (which later became Bharat one of the two official name of Republic of India). One thing Bharata Tribe did unlike others was not destroying the local culture and deities. Instead they incorporated them. Even today you will see local deities and local customs and cultures but they all will have some stories linking them to the main Hindu Pantheon(the belief or religion followed by the Bharata Tribe). Thus Hinduism as today was borne. Complex and Confusing but everything networked or linked with each other over hundreds and thousands of square kilometers with a population of over a billion peoples of all kinds.
I think othe religion gods must be modified , but not in Hindus . Because we have ancient temples and carving which are more than 2 thousands years old ,spreaded all over india depecting the exact modern version of the god . We also have ancient texts which are more ancient than any other religion and explaining the form of god , how they look and how they appear . So don't insut the god that they are modernised just 100 year ago or so .

Brahma is the universe, Vishnu is space Shiva is time, shakti the goddess is energy. Brahma dies after 100 devine years. And another Brahma is born in his place. Basically its multiple universes being created and destroyed as per hinduism. Hinduism is very philosophical. Gods are basically personification of certain concepts of reality. Ultimately in Hinduism God is one. It manifests itself on multiple levels of consciousness in multiple ways through multiple forms. Even you deep down are that reality. Evolution is the basic goal of Hinduism. Evolve to a level where you are ready to reach your true potential and when u realise your true nature you merge back into the source you came from. And will be liberated from the cycle of life and death. Heaven and hel is just a trap in Hinduism. Liberation is the actual Goal from individual existence. basic target of Hinduism is to move from materialism to spiritualism. Religion ties you down. Spirituality liberates you. Because its about self exploration. Saraswati represents knowledge, Lakshmi represents wealth and prosperity, Parvati represents mother nature.
even the creator himself done a mistake or a sinful act once, so the no worship or less worship is a karma for him, cursed by a sage. becoz even gods cannot escape from their karma, it's hindu dharma
*Watch the video of Hinduism explained by COGITO* That's probably the best video.. I never seen this video.. There is also a video of black professor explaining Hinduism.. That's video also great.. 🧡🧡
Honestly that video is just ok - not that good. It’s difficult for westerners to grasp some of the concepts. For example, when other religions debate on who is God, Hindus debate on what is God - there is a difference. Most of the videos on Hinduism are made from an Abrahamic point of view ( not intentionally - it’s just that they do not know any better) Nothing is complete if we don’t discuss Nasadiya Sukta in the Rigveda. That is the first scripture that tried to understand the concept of God. Knowledgeable Hindus should make these videos.
Well this cycle isn't 4.32 million year cycle it's just an error rather it's 43,200 years cycle when you apply it that way and just use it as a Calander Kali Yuga Becomes 4,320 years short from 432,000 years length and all these Yuga's have their Transition's or Yuga Sandhi which are 1/10th of respective Yuga so time Period Between 3,102 BCE to 2,238 BCE which is 864 years is transition period of Dwapara Yuga to Kali Yuga which means Agricultural period to Iron Age Started in this period Civilizations built in this period and offcourse Indus Valley Existed and this Cycle was created in This period itself via Nakshatra system or Stars and all, Kali Yuga has been Delivered as a Bad Yuga in just Recent times the Original purpose of Yuga Cycle was not to live in fear of Yuga Cycles rather Yuga Cycles were only used as calander that civilizations gets destroyed time and again Human life is very fragile and can easily be shaken by Natural Calamities.
13:17 The video got it wrong, Mahabharata and Ramayan are not Smriti's they are itihasa's. Purana's are also different from smriti's. Smriti's are basically like a sequel to Shruti's and there are 18 of them.
13:00 Those are Not Golden helmets gis are wearing, these are zhe Golden Crown each Hindu god/godess has except Shiva bcoz God Shiva renounced all materialistic life and practice Simple Meditational Sage way of living hence Shiva do not have or wear ornaments and wealth.
first of there is no folk religion before the vedas and there is no proto-european religion nthing comes before the vedas even religion word doesn't exist before the vedas so this video is another nonsense propogated just picking stuffs from non hindu people
Keep them coming boys. Ram Ram. Much Love.
7:07 Because Brahma is a mortal, a created being by Vishnu, and Brahman is not a totality of the universe; it is the ultimate reality manifesting the universe.

But even though description was there, Gods were mostly represented in Idol or sculpture or coins, never painted.
It was during 18th century that Raja Ravi Verma a renowned artist who started creating realistic painting of our Gods. Our today's representation of Hindu God was majorly done by Raja Ravi.

One and only brhama temple is in pushkar rajasthan
Swarasati is not the wife of Brahamma, she is the daughter of Brahamma.
She is worshipped in the form of yantra - each form/manifestation of the Goddess has a corresponding yantra -
you can approach her and meditate on her for specific purposes in life.

Brahma and Saraswati....Abraham and Sarah...is it à coincidence?
Bro it's not. They're the same name but reversed a little bit. I was actually discussing this with my muslim dost a month ago it's crazy!!
Bramha is not god..
He is a mortal being just like us..
In scripture many women's names mentioned who were vergin and gave births
Krishna is an avatar of lord vishnu but most powerful one as he comes with 16 Kalas or powers. He is easy to attain then lord vishnu
My appeal to every Muslim, my brother or sister, the owner of the channel, I know that it is not my right to comment on your channel, but God is my witness that our circumstances are harsh and forced me to do this. Please forgive me. My brother, there is still a brotherhood of faith. I asked you for a bag of flour. My brother, we women cannot go out among men. There is still a woman with you. My brother, God has honored you. You are men. We are women. We cannot go out or work like you. My brother, where is the brotherhood of faith in your hearts? We are women. There is no brotherhood, no mercy, no compassion, no humanity. And give good tidings to the patient. It is the greatest hope while waiting for what we want. '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' How many times I called and talked and tried hard, but no one responded. Oh man, we are with you. My mother ordered us food from the restaurant. More and today. My mother left. Crying. She said, Why are you crying, my mother? She said, My daughter, I ask. God, that I may be honored by death. She said, Why, my mother. She cursed us. She said, "My daughter, today the restaurant owner insulted me. I said, 'Why?' I said, 'How can I be better than people?' I ask God, my daughter. May God gather me. With death alone, a gathering that is better than this humiliation and this humiliation. It is true. I am saying this. It diminishes my value and respect. But, man. I swear to God that I did not say this. I kiss your boots. I am so hungry that my conscience no longer allows me to let you go and ask us for food. I kiss your boots, man, and I ask you by God Almighty and in the Book of God, man, I kiss your boots, man. He has caused us harm, my brother, so that we can buy a kilo of flour and pay the rent. My brother, have mercy on us. He who is in the show will have mercy on you, He who is in the sky. My brother, this is my WhatsApp number: 00967711500090. Whoever can help us, message me on WhatsApp. We will send him the full name. He will transfer us as much as he can. May Allah reward you. Allah knows that my family and I, our house rent is 15 thousand Yemeni riyals per month, and now we owe 45 thousand for 3 months. The owner of the house is one of those people who do not have mercy. By Allah, my brother, he comes every day and humiliates us and talks about us and wants to throw us out of the house and into the street because we were unable to pay him the rent. We will have until the end of the week, and if we pay him, he will swear by Allah that he will throw us out into the street without mercy. See my situation for yourselves. I ask you by Allah, the Living, the Eternal, to help me. By Allah, the Almighty, even at night we cannot sleep from fear. We do not have mattresses or blankets to warm ourselves from the cold. Everything is flooded from the rain, and we have no one but Allah and then you. My brothers, I kiss your boots, don’t turn me away empty-handed. Help us with whatever you can. Is it acceptable to you that we live in this place? We are girls and we have no one. Our father died in a car accident. Consider us your daughters and your honor, and help me with whatever you can.
Our God is more creative. he/she has multiple forms. worship of any one or all of them means same thing.
Shiva and Parvati have one more son. Kartike. God of war
he should have covered goddess shakti also in details and besides tridev people follow devi also
*Watch the video of Hinduism explained by COGITO* That's probably the best video..
Most of the videos on Hinduism are made from an Abrahamic point of view ( not intentionally - it’s just that they do not know any better)
Nothing is complete if we don’t discuss Nasadiya Sukta in the Rigveda. That is the first scripture that tried to understand the concept of God.
Knowledgeable Hindus should make these videos.
Project shivoma video react ❤❤
