I have always mentioned that Manika Batra relied too much on the anti-spin long pips return blocks to try to confuse her opponents. It works if her opponents haven't got used to the long pips anti-spin. However, once her opponents are capable of handling her long pips blocks, she will lose her competitive advantages. She just cannot rely on her opponents to make mistakes due to her anti-spin long pips returns. She must develop her forehand and backhand attacks to surprise her opponents.
you are correct. But if she develops her forehand/backhand attack well, she might as well ditch the long pip and switch to regular rubber. The whole point of using long pip is to confuse opponent and win and once other side gets used to it, long pip is over. That's why not many players are using long pips now.
@@krisakakristiano international rankings is what counts...which other ranking u r talking abt.. Though i agree sreeja akula is a better player than manika and her style has what it takes to stay and win in the international Circuit.
@@chrissantos1877 Though I agree that don't be an elitist, but they are professionals already, they don't 'start somewhere'. Miyuu Kihara has plenty of potential though, but even if this is her peak, she can't complain.
Manika Batra has been losing consistently in all tournaments. Time for Sreeja Akula to take India forward. Batra definitely needs to go to domestic circuit, correct her technique/game and prove herself for place in Indian team.
Batra style works against intermediate pro player but the top player of china, japan and south korea, eats pimps player for breakfast, its too easy for them

Camera angle need to change
Miyuu's short bursts are ultra fast. Do not be misled by mild manner. What if Batra can chop?
anyone know which long pips manika is using?
tibhar grass d.tecs
You have to make your paddle win your game. I think the inverted rubber is best against all players.
Long pips are useless without Inverted rubber
Manika batra if she want level up, she must change the back side with short pips, play like mima ito, i think she can do more.
Cant believe she is India's no 1
She is not. AKULA SREEJA is. She is playing on her international ranking which old dated.

Miyu kihara has. Long BH action
All okay
Ordinary level ...
Champions are way ahead
Don't be such an elitist. Everyone started somewhere, they don't get born as professionals.

@chris Santos...
They are playing in a championship league....and we expect some quality game from them

And who tf are you?😂
Manika seemed out of form in this match, lately she played a lot better.

Manika's playing is too predictable and easy for her opponents. At world level, long pips dont cause trouble for World class players.
uh...Um...
Weirdest playing style.
Horrible style with longpips...
