Lorne Greene along with the rest of the cast from Bonanza were great actors, great people back in a time when this world was much better and people seemed nicer and did the right things !!!

My father worked at a Chevy dealership back then , as a ten year old boy I loved going for a visit and often would get a preassembled promotional AMT chevy model car, Wished I kept them all still have some of my Dads nifty Corvette cufflings from back then I think they were another promo item. Yes like someone else metioned here how cool the new car showings were I still remember seeing all the spotlights from the dealerships back then it was like a hollywood premier! Such an excting era

The new car year was a great deal more fun back then. Fall meant new cars and new programs on TV.

I grew up about a mile from the GM Proving Grounds in Milford, Michigan. Love this vintage promotional film!

As you probably know. Chevrolet sponsored "BONANZA" during the 1960's- and the cast frequently appeared in integrated commercials for their sponsor at the end of the program, and sales films such as this.

this was the year I was born. Looking at this history of these cars is amazing. Too bad cars are plastic pieces of crap now, and 10 times more expensive.

But they don't have the soul, spirit, glamour, style, personality and charm than the recicled plastic bottles on wheels that overpriced today's car are. Once you see a modern one, you see all cars around.

sheldon blankenship True, but as a 1966 Chevy owner I can say that driving a well-maintained vintage car is much more enjoyable....

The animation sequence at the beginning looks like it was done by the same studio that did the Pink Panther cartoons.

+Foxonian I think Depatie-Freleng enterprises may have done this since they did the Pink Panther cartoons and other cartoon shorts. The cartoons and music were typical of the mid-Sixties pre-Woodstock.
