Nope I disagree, They're not the same as you and me 😆 they don't train, they did it by their own since they're young and it's natural voice, trust me people in the Philippines don't actually go to some voice teachers and train, it's just self effort. 👌
Wrong! Lea Salonga had to train otherwise her voice will have been ruined when she was in Miss Saigon. She had the natural talent but she had to hone it so her voice will be able to cope up with the performance she had to do every week.

BTW, have I already told you that about 95% of Pilipino Singers have NO FORMAL PROFESSIONAL VOCAL TRAINING? Nothing but pure Talents and constant practice made them to where they are now. They started at a very young age and entered every Competition available until they reach celebrity status. The simple but amazing truth/proof is that Pilipinos won many Grand Championships in the Prestigious WCOPA, World Championship Of Performing Arts in the US. Pilipino Singers are the best in Asia and can be at par with the western ones, if not better. And the saddest part is that they are still underrated, discriminated and undiscovered.Thanks to Social Media, especially YT that they were able to showcase their Talents. Thanks again.

To tell you frankly, the Music Industry, especially in the West, is a "Cutthroat" kind of Business. In the US, some decades back, you'll rarely find Black Singers. So, the Black Community established their own Music Company, and the rest is history. How many Famous Asian Singers can you find in the US and Europe? Racial Discrimination still a thing in the West.
