Not gonna lie, I have the most bare-bones understanding of this game. I have no idea what's going on 99% of the time but I stay for the vibes and giggles
if u want to know how the game works - the cards are divided into blues, reds, neutral, and one black. each team has a spymaster who can see which cards are which colour and their job is to get their teammates to guess the cards corresponding to their team colour. they do this by choosing a word that could connect multiple cards. so the example of “bep 2” means there are 2 words on the board that are connected to the word bep. julien says bep, julien has tattoos, so thats why they guessed those words. if they guess the right card, they can keep going with the guessing or choose to end their turn. if they guess the other teams card or a neutral grey card, that team’s turn automatically ends. if they guess the black card, they lose the game. and the goal is to be the first team to guess all their cards first to win! (i hope i did a decent job explaining)
Avery did an awesome job explaining! I also needed the game explained to me a few months back. I would only add, say the spymaster gives the number 2 with the clue. That means if the team guesses both correct for their color, then they can make one more guess. This is often when Jason chaos guesses.
