1. clear site cookies, OR
2. Zoom out your browser to 120% or 133% or higher. This always works for 90% of people
Most people report getting "Please scan the code again " error or couldnt connect error, This is a minor issue which can be sorted out with zooming your browser to enlarge your QR code surface area.

The fix for Scenario 1 worked really well. Now the QR scanner of Whatsapp mobile app now recognizes & reads the QR code of Whatsapp Web on Google Chrome. Thank you.

VPN connection also causes issues, make sure you disable it before trying to connect if u still have problem
