This was unexpected but awesome! Very intense screams but the chorus was quite beautiful.

NEMOPHILA actually did a cover of Babymetal “Megitsune” that you should react to.
These guys merit a deep dive. This single isn't especially indicative of their output to this point, it feels more like an experiment to see if they could do it. They are easily the most fun band I've seen in ages. Apart from the lead guitarist, the rest of the members are all from defunct girl metal bands. The singer was doing some small solo shows in the summer of 2019 and just collected some musicians to play for her and they really REALLY got along and decided to make a go of it. They released a bunch of live studio covers last year that are a hoot and they clearly just love playing together. If nothing else, check out their debut single OIRAN, and maybe their BABYMETAL Megitsune cover. In both cases, watch for the bassist busting out laughing whenever the singer starts screaming.
Haraguchi San and Mayu have known each other for a long time. I think she busts up because she still just doesn’t expect that noise to come out of her buddy!

That is a great song from Nemophila, phila pronounced like for Philadelphia no extra i, so many say Nemophilia.
As much as Mayu's screams surprises people, for me it was that Haraguchi on the bass and Tamu on drums managed to keep a straight face during the whole video, that is a first, you can see at least 1 smirk in every other they have done and even more in the ones they recorded in their practice studio which I highly recommend you also check out, either originals or cover songs. You can't go wrong with any of them.

Nemophila were founded in 2019. There are a supergroup composed of:
Mary's Blood guitarist Saki
ex-Lipstick vocalist Mayu
ex-Disqualia guitarist Hazuki (also plays with Lisa-X)
ex-Hölderlins bassist Haraguchi-san, and
ex-Soramimi drummer Muratatam (also does other projects)
Initially, they were just a side project, co-organized by Saki and Mayu. They started off posting metal covers of well-known rock, pop and metal songs. Then they began posting originals, starting with “Oiran” ruclips.net/video/eyb2NtPwcxc/видео.html Their originals show a trend toward harder and heavier.
Other than Saki, none of them had previously been with a breakout band, despite having amazing chops. Getting these five together did the trick-they are just exploding.

Definitely react to the NEMOPHILA song called LIFE . its a very touching video and a very nice song. They all turn to face the drummer ( Tamu ) she had recently returned from giving birth so they showed her their appreciation and dedicated the song to her. also its a little section where they celebrate Hazuki's birthday (the guitarist on the left) ! Its awesome .
This song and Oiran have the most screaming and now you need to see their cover of Babymetal's Megitsune

Nemophila was formed by Saki (the guitarist on the right) and lead singer Mayu. This is a super band as members were also from other group. Drummer Tamu was a rock veteran. Saki is a very well known metal guitarist, she joined the band "Destrose" back in 2009 as a teenager. FYI: Lovebites bassist Miho and drummer Haruna were also from Destrose. After Destrose disbanded in 2015, Miho found Lovebites.

That was a fun reaction. The Japanese rock and metal scene has so much talent, and easy to list a dozen all-female bands. Nemophila are reasonably new as a band, but very experienced musicians. Good choice. If you think you might enjoy a fusion of 'Idol' aesthetic and metal you might like to try 'Survive' by Wagamama Rakia.

Excellent! Now for a completely different, yet equally talented original from these girls, try "Life" - I think it's more your speed. Oiran is great too, less screamy but just as heavy.
Love these ladies, my favorite band! Their originals are metal and should check out Oiran, Raitei to name two, then they do covers that range from pop to rock to metal and they have a blast doing them! Great reaction! Nemophila is an upcoming band that is surely gonna take the bull by its horns! The next song I recommend by Nemophila is Life! Apparently, their drummer Tamu had just given birth so they wrote and dedicated a song to her! In the video it is clear how emotional it is as the girls are in tears! What’s even more cool is that they all are facing Tamu while playing and singing! Check it out! Mayu’s vocals is badass as usual!

Very divers band with 7 original tracks to date all very very good and some supper cool covers you wont be disappointed with any of them less than 2 years old and going places .

The lyrics are mix Japanese with English, but mayu's accent just makes it kinda hard to understand for the first listening. Great reaction, yes Nemophila is such an amazing new band packed with highly-skilled musicians 🤘🏼🤘🏼

I recommend Sorai and Raitai, more classic rock, less screaming ( though I like it, Dissension is an absolute cool song ), but Mayu has such a beautiful voice, that screaming is not a must.
Oiran should be next. One of the girls is from Mary's Blood another great band. All of them are from other bands. The drummer just had a baby so she isn't in all the clips they did covering other bands music but check those videos out they are great. Have you guys done Miku's solo effort yet? The band is Cluppo and the song is called peace and love. The type of music is described as hippy popo it's just lovely and film clip is beautiful. See ya.

Enjoyable reaction!! This song is 🔥🔥🔥. Dissension is their heaviest song with the most screaming. All Nemophila’s songs and covers are excellent. I recommend:
(another heavy song with some screams)
(rocking song without screams)
(emotional ballad about the birth of the drummer’s baby)
listen to their song "my life" it's really awesome and more calm
Mayu's screams/cleans are very clean-well done. They have a great sound for this song. Love it. But if you think her screams are extreme, might I suggest. " Mergingmoon" Song: Greyen. You can find the live version on their own channel.
Yall should also check out Hanabie -- LGC, they are another all female japanese metal band.
You two might be interested to know that this band also does a Babymetal cover as well. If you'd like to watch it, look for their version of Megitsune.
