I don't think Vairina Esperaridea is a good idea because you can basically always confirm a dominated rearguard attacking by using your G3 VG or rideline G2 skill to call one from their drop. Even if their rear guards have resist, calling a 4k trigger can still be used cause of your crest and VG skill giving it +9k to make 13k to hit their VG. You can also use the rideline G2 to give it an extra +10k since this deck isn't counterblast heavy, assuming you don't use the shojodoji G2 in your rideline. Also if you hit an overtrigger during your drive check and restand VG, Fuurai and Sekiei can restand again assuming you have the soul to do so, but Vairina's skill is 1/turn. Therefore, the restanders provided in the deck are just better, especially Fuurai since it gains at least +10k for free and doesnt need 2 open cards in Gzone, also they can intercept if you're in a pinch. I think the only reason you would run Vairina is because you decided to play 1 Forbidoll so you can search it out but I personally don't think it's worth it since you're forced to call Bliorvis and you might want to save that slot for a restander. Also you can use Brachioforce and Stealth fiend Shenryi (assuming it comes out for english) to retire and draw to help with your early game against rush decks such as mygo or lianorn vivace that is commonly seen (I play jap format). Which is why I use draw triggers since I would rather have a bigger hand to guard and hit stride compared to not being able to get to that point in the first place. However whether you run fronts or draws is up to you, I think both are fine and it's just what you prefer.

I am still confuse with genkai skill. Does it mean that you give free card to your opponent if you are going first? If you going second there is still possibility that your opponent will skip g3 ride and using genkai will also be useless. Personally i would run shododoji g2 with vairina to ensure i get atleast the restand and early rush. Haven't tested it yet tho

If you’re going first, you can choose not to call something off of Genkai since it says you may.

Haven’t gotten to it yet, I’ve been switching the style of Deck Analysis videos to those that are coming out in English, so Luard will be getting one soon, just not right now.
