I think you're missing what those thought bubbles actually are
The entire point is Thor literally cannot think of anything but lazy, regurgitated banter without any depth because Enchantress's Story Magic in the comics, spread across the entire globe, is affect his brain because the collective effect of millions of mortals feeding a spell depicting him as nothing but a raging, quippy moron, is actively fucking with his psyche and not letting him think like he normally would. He even points it out in his internal thoughts.
That's why his Axe Tormod isn't coming back until the end, because he's literally having his wits beguiled and screwed with by magic. He's making fun of this dialogue in the MCU lmao.

Naomi's theme from 'Armitage' would be good for some Thor fight scenes. The theme from 'Noir' with the bells would be good for some spy/espionage type story, like maybe Black Widow.

How good is this run compared to Ewing's Hulk? I loved that run, but don't read much Thor. Only read Walt Simonson's run and a little of Cates run.
Its truly an amazing run but I will warn you that to really appreciate it you need to read the matt fraction runs as well as other thor comics ( Donny cates ,jms ect)
