I've been considering getting one of these for emergencies since it will be compatible with the butane fuel canisters I already use for my Snow Peak Flat Burners and Grill Burner. My biggest concern is how loud is it? I have some old propane lantern that are really loud and the noise tends to make me cranky. I was considering the new electric Home And Camp Lantern. But I'm unsure as to how they compare in terms of brightness and ease of use. I think a Lantern Comparison video would be really helpful. Obviously the electric lights are going to be quieter. But it would be nice to see the difference in brightness between all of Snow Peak's lights and lanterns to be able to make an informed decision.

Don’t buy any all fuel stove if you hate noise. The Primus ones too. It’s a strong white noise many people and unbearable for others.
I have a new old stock Brunton Vapor AF(All Fuel) stove. If you don’t wanna read ahead…it’s a 10/10 Masterpiece even with the noise. I would go down on a gay & ugly woman all week for another one.
It turns out it was made by none other than Snow Peak in Japan including the pump. The bottle was made somewhere in Europe It burns any fuel known to man including kerosene, gasoline, jet fuel. pure alcohol fuels and E85 and has a special coating on the aluminum bottle for alcohol fuels.
It has amazing simmer control & it looks bad ass with Orange on the fuel bottle and stove.
it comes with a nice heat shield, a nice storage bag and a nice maintenance kit with a pricker tool to clean the tiny hole on the jet and a tool for any maintenance-repairs.
The only downside is that it sounds like a model plane Jet engine. Not really but kinda!
They also made/sold maintenance kits that come with a replacement priming wick for $10 but everyone sold out long ago so I check eBay waiting to be ripped off(obviously o rings are easy to come bye but not the liquid fuel priming wick).
Even with the relatively loud sound this thing is a masterpiece absolute 10/10!!😱
The USA and other great Militaries of the world have used Brunton with great success.
This is a world class, Zombie apocalypse survival tool that is going to be locked in my safe.
I’m going to make a video tomorrow morning of this thing in action and use a decibel meter to test the noise level @ simmer and @ full blast. Subscribe to me please and check back tomorrow around 3pm mountain time

Certain frequencies are proven to make people “Cranky” as you’ve said and/or angry!
I just received mine yesterday and after putting together, I’m pretty disappointed in the light output. Could I be doing something wrong, maybe the mantle takes time to brighten? Using a GP-250G canister…

I’m gonna make my own custom mixture of 60%cheap Gas One Korean butane from bulk 12 can case and 40% propane. Don’t ever exceed 40% propane as the isobutane canisters can’t handle the pressure.
This mixture should be very right with 40% propane.
I have the butane can to lindal adapter, lindal to lindal adapter & a propane to lindal adapter.
Did you experience fuel issues with these lanterns having corrosion formed within the valve? This issue causes only half of the mantle to get lit up. I'm having the issue and wanted to know how to repair it myself.

@@snowpeakglobalchannelcampw725 I live in the US and have already reached out to the Warranty/Repairs Specialist at Snow Peak US but was told they cannot repair the BF Lanterns at this time.
@@caladan2001 I already told with my colleague that you need to repair BF lantern.US repairment team is now discussing about this. I heard that Snow Peak Japan will send part for replacement.
